Yup and the deck works pretty damn well. Especially in multiplayer. Because milling yourself doesnt draw aggro for some reason

Maybe more creatures with devour?
Should add Phyrexias Core and some Mycosynth Wellsprings. Use Phyrexias Core effect to sac your Wellspring when it comes into play to get some life and another land at the same time.
Have you thought about adding Wurm Coil Engine?
Nothing sounds wierd especially when you look at the concept of this deck. I have made changes to it and I like your idea but I kind of want to try and keep it mono blue. So I threw in 2 Back from the Brink. That way if they do remove it I can get a copy back. I will definitely fudge around with your idea though cuz it does sound a lot better than exiling my win condition
There is no such thing as a 2 dollar deck. Even if you were to order all these cards online youd still be spending around 10 dollars for the shipping on it.
Its a good trick especially if essence is the only thing you have on your field and they expect you to block with it
Need a better token maker. Army of the Damned is really expensive to cast and its going to take two turns to make all those tokens after you cast Essence. Unless you can pump out land faster.
Well the simplest way to splash gren is to use the Innistrad m/c lands. Like Hinterland Harbor and Clifftop Retreat if you wanted. Easy way to splash green and a good way to produce both your red and blue mana

It might be free but its at a cost. If you use 2 life each time you play it your losing valuable life. Yes you get a peak at there hand to see if they can stop the combo but then your left with 2 less life and you can only hope that dont swing with something huge
Asceticism is crazy. In any deck. My friend put one in his red green werewolf deck, the deck was pretty damn good before but now its just about unstoppable.
