best hand is leyline, thopter, thoper land, land, (one needs to be a forest. with 16 and 3 ways to fetch not too had to have one). First it throws off your opponent and you are hoping for a fetch land to be cracked. if not you still good.0) trigger from opening hand leyline1) land thopter thoper netting you 2 life2) land witch at this time one was a forest play Assault Formation swing for 6 if you still have both thopters and not blocked.3) swing again if you still have your team, again if you have then & not blocked. play tower defense for 16! even with out them not fetching that's 22 damage.A good opening hand is a mix of cards that you want to have. Leyline, thoper land or 2 Doran or Assault Formation. Leyline is really the only must have card in hand. With 11 creatures that has a cmc of 1 or less its not hard to build a wall to protect yourself till you find win cards (Doran or formation) and a tower defense. the kill spells and hate cards are filer. it's really a test of what i need. any help on what should be in SB
