Earthquake would work well, but Pyrohemia functions the same way. Also, I didn't want to use any instant or sorcery spells because enchantments let me draw more cards and help Sphere of Safety and Ethereal Armor.

Ghostly Prison would be perfect, but I usually don't spend more than $2 on a single card and Sphere of Saftey works just as well for a bit higher mana cost. Your friend's deck is badass, but over $250?! I try to keep my decks under $20.

I had considered using Spellshock and Pyrostatic Pillar, but decided Powerstone Minefield, Pyrohemia and Spitemare would be better as they can help defend against creatures and deal direct damage. Smoke works really well in this deck of mine: http://mtgvault.com/1111222334/decks/bazaar-taker/>

I really like the idea of using Power Conduit with Undying. I think you should take out the Sol Ring, Black Sun's Zenith, Urborg Justice and Harvester of Souls and use Altar's Reap, Hex Parasite and something like Plunge Into Darkness so you can sacrifice only your creatures with Undying.

Hellrider is a nice card. Let me know what you come up with for your own deck.

Very cool. My most powerful deck is similar to this, but more affordable. http://mtgvault.com/1111222334/decks/forceful-drawing/

Guttersnipe and Krenko's Command wouldn't work in this deck at all. I kind of like the idea of using Blood Artist, but I couldn't attack with him, making Raid Bombardment less useful.

I took your idea and created this deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=416875

I like Red/White decks that work, but I feel that this deck could be more functional if it were mono red. Burn at the Stake is a pretty cool card.

I had considered Soul Conduit. It may be a better choice than Magus of the Mirror just because it can be tapped at any time.

I don't quite understand how Soul Exchange would be beneficial. I originally had Worship in this deck, but felt that it made this deck too powerful and it is more $ than I usually spend on cards. Definitely like the idea of more phyrexian mana cards. If only Surgical Extraction was cheaper!

I may put a couple Reverse the Sands in to up the chance of a life exchange win. I feel like Near-Death Experience would be kind of a lame way to win. I'll definitely have to get Batwing Brume in this deck, it's perfect. Thanks for the comment.

Smoke would slow this down significantly.

My deck can't stop Goblin Grenades or Lightning Grieves, but it might be able to win.

I also made a madness deck, but it's very different from yours. Gibbering Descent was my basis card.

Basilisk Collar would be perfect, but it is worth too much $. I avoid using cards worth more than $2 in my decks.

Descent into Madness is cool, but that could easily backfire. Thanks for the suggestions.

Eon Hub would defeat the purpose of Plague Spitter, which is to destroy all creatures with 1 toughness. I have the option of playing 2 Plague Spitters to destroy all creatures with toughness 4 or less, which makes fiend hunter pointless. Unmake would be a good replacement for Humble.
