Deck Description

After working on my Grixis Control Deck for sooo long now. I've come to the conclusion that more people like less-aggresive Control Decks. And the whole idea I had in mind for Grixis Control, was to make it Aggro. I'd like to see what peoplem say about a less aggresive and faster Control Deck. Enjoy! :D

P.S If you have any suggestions, make them Extended-Legal please.

Deck discussion for Grixis Control

Well on Oct 1st Time Spiral block will rotate out of extended, so i won't advise the use of Damnation over Earthquake or Extirpate for control, but I do notice you have no cards from the Lorwyn block... why is that?
Thoughtseize is leaps and bounds better than Duress. Memory Pluner (a card really underrated) is a staple sideboarder for me, especially for U/W control and RDW. Bitterblossom is great, especially if you're running with Earthquake and Oona, Queen of the Fae can be a game winner by herself if you're lucky to keep her around longer than one turn.
Cryptic Command is another amazing card from that block for drawing cards, countering and whatever else you may want to use it for.
Reflecting Pool is the best land in Extended in my oppinion and with playing three colors it's a need and not a want.
If you want to be more of an aggressive control deck, try Deny Reality and Bitinumous Blast to cascade into blightning, terminate, lightning bolt and Sedrexis Specter's.
There's some food for thought, do what ya can with it...

I actually made this specifically not to be aggresive, lol. Thoughtseize is definetely a good card, I'll be adding that soon. Idk bout Memory Plunder, I don't see many spells I want to use in other decks. I really, really, really, really, hate faeries, and they wont fit in too much with this deck. I forgot about Cryptic Command, I heard it rocked a lot of tournaments in extended, I'll be adding that soon. Like I said, I want to be Control, not Aggro. Do you think this deck is better than the old one?

Sorry, I misread your description. I thought you were making it aggro.
This deck is definitely better than the last though... I'd swap negate for Mana Leak though.

Hey, I was looking up u/r/b decks, and this one came across to be fairly popular (amongst the few u/b/r decks I could find, at least)

so I was wondering if you could check out and comment on my new tri colored deck?

I'm realtively new to magic, and newer to tri colors. So, if you have time, it woukd help a lot.

Thanks, man. And btw; nice deck :3
