WTH? This is just too cruel. I grabbed a sample hand was very impressed by what I saw. I like the addition of Release the Gremlins on the sideboard to contend with artifact heavy decks. Hard to believe that such an inexpensive deck could perform so well against what I call "Daddies Wallet" type decks. This gives me hope! Thank you Easterfields!

Gotta admit, I wasn't thinking much about this zombie deck until I drew a hand or two. Nasty, nasty stuff. And much quicker than I'd ever expect mainly thanks to Phylactery Lich. Nice surprise. Only thing I'd suggest is removing the Bad Moon and adding an artifact that does the same thing. Trust me, Phylactery Lich is your secret weapon. Another artifact like your sideboarded Darksteel Plate would be a better choice. Great deck though man!

Hmmm...I really like what you're doing here. I would hate to play against this deck as it seems like the zombies would be coming out of everywhere. My only concern is how it would do against flight (as you mention) and planeswalkers. Countering and direct damage isn't too much of a worry since you can keep returning zombies and/or manufacturing them. If I might make a suggestion; I would remove the rats, add 2 more Shamble Back's and find a way to add 4 Ruinous Paths. That will allow you contend with planeswalkers (which show up in every tournament deck) and kill enough of the opponents creatures to stay ahead. The Shamble Back will also allow you to make zombies out of their dead creatures. MEAT has the potential to be a deadly contender!

What the hell?! I have to admit that you've made some very interesting edits to a proven formula. 28 lands in a 60 card deck?!! I thought you were crazy yet oddly, 9 out of 10 sample draws had me winning turn 2! Impressive to say the least! The only change I would make would be to remove the Zuran Orb (although I can appreciate its inclusion for balancing the life costs of tutoring your library) and add one more Lighting Greaves. I love love love how you don't have a single swamp in an all black deck, and not one card is over 3 mana. Very outside the box my friend. Nice work and deck (if not a bit expensive)!
