I know he's not a Warrior, but I think running just one Champion of the Parish in this deck could really help it out by providing a tank. Plus, it'd still stick under the $20 limit.

That's a great idea. I guess you can't go wrong with four mana 5/5s.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but how about taking out 1-2 Clockwork Hydras and putting in some Heroes' Banes? Clockwork Hydras always seem sketchy at best for me (by forcing you to remove +1/+1 counters), and since Heroes' Bane practically doubles by itself (creating quite the combo with Vorrel), it seems like a really logical choice.

Interesting. Ever considered a dragonshift to turn your generators into powerful attackers?

Definitely. Are you planning on adding Sarkhan?

Nice deck. I really like the use of the star dragons.

That's a good point, I hadn't paid much attention to the curve. I'll look into it. The only problem is that most exilers cost 3, so it might be a bit difficult. But I'll try!

EDIT -- I tried, and did add some lower cost creatures, but this deck is ultimately a 3 mana deck. Make it to turn 3 and watch your opponents quiver in fear.

Good idea, I will look into it.

EDIT -- I added in some more Wall of Nets, because they are amazing.

EDIT -- I'll probably try to make a budget version.

Hey Northern, great deck.
Could I see this deck budgeted?

Please keep in mind that in my Dance of the Auramage deck I would like to keep in Kor Spiritdancer.
Thanks so much if you can help!

I still can't believe this deck doesn't have a Champion of the Parish.
Champion of the Parish
Cost: W
Creature - Human Soldier
Whenever another human enters the battlefield under your control, put a +1/+1 counter on Champion of the Parish.
1/1
YOU NEED IT NORTHERN!!! :D

This deck absolutely needs Enter the Infinite. Although it costs 12, Kruphix's mana banking ability will get you the mana, and it plus a card like Psychosis Crawler or Labratory Maniac is a win combo.
49 cents on TCG player. I would just take out Sylvan Ranger.

I recommend Sisters of Stone Death. Around $3 in value, put with a $10 deck you should be able to make the cut to below $15.

Sisters of Stone Death (4BBGG)
Legendary Creature - Gorgon
G: Target creature blocks Sisters of Stone Death this turn if able.
BG: Remove from the game target creature blocking or being blocked by Sisters of Stone Death.
2B: Put a creature card removed from the game with Sisters of Stone Death into play under your control.
5/7

Infernal Medusa is another great choice, as it paired with Lure is a deadly combination that kills all your opponents untapped creatures.

Infernal Medusa
Creature - Gorgon
At the end of each combat, destroy all non-Wall creatures blocked or being blocked by Infernal Medusa.
I can't remember P/T.
Here's a link to both cards:

+1 BTW. Also this deck was inspired by you: http://www.mtgvault.com/acesniped/decks/stony-stares/

Northern I hope you know people really appreciate the budget decks you make. Although they don't get nearly as much likes as "2 TURN WIN THE BEST DECK EVER" decks, who's really going to pull $300 dollars out for 60 cards? This earns a +1!
