It is under most circumstances, but I often face an olivia voldaren deck and this card helps a lot against her

Is there a point of the dual lands in this deck?

Slagstorm might be useful in this deck. Possibly better than mizzium mortars.

Thats a good idea! What would you recommend taking out for overgrowth? I was thinking possibly the x2 kozilek's channelers and x2 nest invader

Thank you for the comment and the link. I consider Ranger's path to count as a "land". So as of now I think of my deck having 22 lands. I also have the elvish mystics to help with the early game mana needs. How many more forests do you think would be optimal for this deck? I could see myself adding ~2 more forests, but I do not know what I would replace in my deck. Do you have any suggestions?

a lot of people don't like swinging into a boros reckoner, it gives more board control.

I like your deck, I think it is missing some control though. Usually against any monster based deck it is hard to win without control.

Well if you don't want it to be standard, It could help to throw in some arbor elves and overgrowths for more mana ramp

Instead of Titanic Growth, I would suggest Vines of Vastwood. It is basically the same exact spell except better imo.
