Deck Description

YOU CANNOT BE GOING FIRST FOR THIS DECK TO WORK!!!!!

win on turn the first turn before your opponent can play and before your turn.

Basic idea is that in your opening hand you have: 1x gemstone caverns, 1x elvish spirit guide, 1x flash, and 1x protean hulk, (the rest don't matter) You get to start the game with gemstone caverns in play so tap it and add one blue to your pool , discard elvish spirit guide to get an extra mana and play flash for protean hulk. It will die as soon as it comes into play so you search your library for all your 0 cost artifact creatures, one carrion feeder and 4 disciples of the vault. Sacrifice all the artifact creatures to the carrion feeder dealing 64 damage to the other players with the disciples.

yeah but the problem is i will not be able to find as many of these guys as i could 0 cost artifact creatures so the artifacts can do a lot more damage
the mystic tutor could help but after i play it i wont have enough mana to cast the flash:(

this is an old combo. the original used these artifact walls (i forget their names) and they came into play with X +1/+1 counters on them. so, you got all 8, and 4 disciple, and in magic x=0, so you just pay nothing for them, so they have no power/toughness. then, they all die and trigger disciple. BAM

p.s. it's only 32 damage D:

Interesting deck, but I prefer decks that don't destroy the fun of the game.

And unless something has changed since your post, 4 disciples each dealing damage with 16 artifact creatures would be 64

Yep, this is an extremely old and annoying type of combo deck, simply called Flash.

The walls you're thinking of Ethan are Shifting Walls. No need for Carrion Feeder here!

This is an amazing combo even though lotus petal is restricted to 1 in all types and so is flash. even in vintage. :(
Another way to turn 0 is with Leyline of anticipation in opening hand and throwing out lotus petal, and other such things to generate the 2 mana for flash or 3 for mystical tutor and then flash.

I hate this deck because its basically the most broken deck in the game. Flash/Hulk is truly not fun to play against or with. However I understand the appeal of a near unstoppable deck.

Having said that I would run 4 Demonic tutors to help consistence and cut either your Phyrexian Walker or Shield Sphere. You don't really need to sac that many creatures to do the job if you have multiple Disciple of the Vault in play.
Also the only card that I am aware of that can stop this deck in its tracks is Leyline of of the void. Although I like that you are running feeder in this version so even if your disciples can't do the job, you will have a few large carrion feeders to attack with. However I suggest running 3 feeders and 1 Woodfall Primus as back up to destroy Leyline of the void with or to destroy any two non lands and still be left with a 5/5 trampler.

This deck isn't really even Type 1 competitive because of Force of Will and Daze. This deck loses to anything that says "No", because it has nothing to fall back on; hence why you never see it in Type 1 tournaments over say, Ritual-based decks.

Lolol this is an awesome deck. Untap, Upkeep, I win. Serum Powder could be really good in this deck. Other than that, there isn't much to say.

Yeah, this deck really probably doesn't even need the swamps if the goal is to combo with Flash-Hulk. Instead, I would suggest dropping the artifact count a little bit and add in Islands over Swamps and Forests. I would add in some blue cards like Force of Will and/or Brainstorm and Mental Misstep.Just an idea.

To avoid having to worry about getting countered, running a set of Pact of Negation responds well to FOW. And since ur going to win anyways, paying the 3uu cost doesnt even apply. Similarly, a set of summoner's pact can be added in, effectively turning your 4 hulks into 8. And, like another fellow already mentioned, ensuring that a set of both guides (simian and elvish) will effectively guarintee a turn 0 oull for this deck. The fewer time you gotta mull, the better.

i have seen this combo on youtube but with sunburst creatures and since they are 0 mana cost and will enter play with no +1/+1 counters they will all die and the deciples will deal 32 damage without sacrificing creatures and it is an instant game giving no time for inturrupts

and someone using a good blue deck dystroys this deck by using fiol and discarding a island and another card to counter your hulk other than that the combo cant be stopped

but this combo has been around for a very long time and IS NOT ORIGINAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
