Hey MTG Vault! I got my weekly Standard deck thats highly competitive, fun to play and strategic to work with. I'm talking of RuG Control. This build comes from the inspiration of my Legacy deck Canadian Thresh. the way i thought of this is using a winning strategy of the very popular deck RUG Delver in Legacy of aggro control splashing Red for burn, and thats exactly what i did here. The green is for your beaters that are just annoying to get rid of and take maximum effort to remove and depleting your opponents resources. The control is to add insult to injury by saying "NO!" at the right times. and the Red is to, you guessed it, Remove the small annoying guys. This gives you crazy card advantage with Jace FoF'ing the top 3 and getting what you want and giving your opponent a chance to screw up. and give you what you need. The Sideboard is a little more broad than I'd like for the Meta here where i live, but it still gets the work done. I took our shops recent win at FNM and Won our Gameday as well the day after getting my Nivix Guildmage Playmat. Lemme know what you guys think aight? :)
