Deck Description

After i put the deck together i got a few suggestions from people and i like like it even more now.
There is more control now with the roils and draw factors with sign in blood. the removal is great with the inquisitions, GffT, Doom Blade, and surgical extraction combo'd with any of those can make a pretty hard blow in their game.

The Sideboard is for games 2 and 3 if they're running a Kuldotha red, Valakut or caw-blade decks. spell pierces for artifact or enchantment heavy decks like Kahlni heart expedition or planeswalkers. the hexmage is to swap out for the vamp lacerators vamps in case they're playing Jace's or some other high counter permanent.

Deck discussion for Type2 Vampire Aggro Control

I like everything except Sorin Markov. Imo replace him with Surgical Extraction. It's a kick to the nuts to just about any deck, and is a great first/second turn follow up to mana leak, inquisition, or a creature destruction spell.

Agreed on Sorin Markov. I find the "Russian Vampire" way too cumbersome to get out quickly enough to do some real damage.

Definitely add some Vampire Hexmages to your sideboard to deal with any planeswalker nonsense.

The one thing I'd be concerned about is your draw power. Sign in Blood is awesome for Black Aggro decks (I run one myself, but not vampires), and I'd consider switching Unsummon for Into the Roil. Gives you another possible draw option.

thanks for the suggestions guys first of all.. i really like people input and ideas to make things better and spot weaknesses. I had Sorin in there as sort of an insurance for later game in case they wipe the board or are putting tokens/wienies in. his -2 also helps with a couple abilities in case they're life gaining. I have been toying around with putting vamp. Nocturnous in... but i'm not sure what to sub or get rid of.

Well, Surgical extraction should take care of the two big non DoJ cards you'll have to worry about: Consume the Meek and Black Sun's Zenith.

What about running Liliana Vess instead? I run two of her in my mono black. Helps with discard, would let you run one big creature like Nocturnus, and gives you a big backup to board wipe. I linked my deck, see if there's anything else in there you could use.

i actually do like lilianna's minus 2 ability.. and i completely forgot Nocturnous is out of standard now.. hes only M10. But anyways, Lilianna is a pretty good planeswalker. i guess i never really stopped and looked and considered the application of all her abilities. i feel like im gonna go 1 and 1 for the planes walkers. lilianna can get me sorin if i need and shes only a 5 drop.

She's great, honestly. The amount of games she's won for me when I've either faced too much removal (her ultimate is ridiculous) or burn is pretty high. She's especially helpful for discarding against other blue decks.
