Just throwing it out there, random killing is part of what Xenagos finds fun. Revelry is not a bad thing per say, but it isn't all happy times and sunshine like you make it out to be. It is party, party, party, and anyone who doesn't join the dance and gets in the way gets dead real quick. That being said, Xena-god is best god

My personal suggestion: -3 Black Oak of Odunos (Your other defenders cost the same and are better than this)-1 Doom Blade (Downfall is so much better. Plus, in this meta, black is used. A LOT. (From my experience at any rate))-1 Read the Bones (You have no way to gain the life back, so your life should stay as high as possible. Still, Scry 2, Draw 2 for a loss of 2 life is worth keeping two of them in)+2 Consuming Aberration (Centerpiece of the deck, too good not to have 4.)+1 Wall of Frost (Stupid awesome wall. May not have flying, but 7 toughness and an extra turn tap down more than make up for that)+1 Hero's Downfall (This is the epitome of black removal. 4 is pretty much required)+1 Breaking // Entering (Since I assume you won't be playing the 'Entering' half of this card, a 2 mana mill 8 in standard is almost as broken as 'Glimpse the Unthinkable')Like I said though, those are my personal suggestions. Obviously if you don't have the money for some of those cards, you have to make some budget choices (Believe me, I completely understand that haha). Other than that, the deck looks awesome man!Oh, and if you can get another Phenax, stick him in here with the other two. While him being legendary and a 5 cost keeps you from using 4, 3 means you draw him sooner/more often, meaning you win quicker! :D
I wonder why, with all this devotion you have to black, you don't run four Gray Merchants? Just curious.
Do you not play Magic very often? Desecration Demon is a beast from the middle east. Plus, it seems like this deck is out to get his creatures out fast while at the same time controlling the amount of critters his opponent has, which Desecration does wonderfully, especially when there are two Desecration's out. I can't count on my fingers and toes the amount of games I've won with my Mono Black Devotion thanks to Desecration. It's that good of a card, it's amazing.
Woops, didn't think about the gates hahaha besides that, my point still stands lol
with 4 of them in the deck and the spread out mana base, the odds are actually pretty well in this deck's favor to be able to do just that in every matchup.
Check out my version and tell me what you think!http://www.mtgvault.com/ahelmer/decks/mazes-end/
Looks like a really cool, fun deck. My question though, is since you built a Maze's End Deck, shouldn't the main win-con be Maze's End? If that's the case, might I recommend using Into the Wild? A great card for any Maze's End deck. In any case, this deck looks pretty cool. Good luck with it!
Chandra's Phoenix is a 3/3 that costs three that has all of those abilities already, including haste and an ability to return to your hand from the grave.
Quicken + Planar Cleansing. Not the most ideal, mana wise, but it's instant speed boardwipe and in colors done by most top tier decks nowadays.
Am i missing something, or is Stuffy + Guilty Conscience an infinite damage loop?
For starters, if you want to make it standard, drop Gisela and the Clifftop Retreats. Replace the retreats with Sacred Foundry if you have them, otherwise Temple of Triumph or possibly Boros Guildgate. If you're gonna use Assemble the Legion, you should run Purphoros, God of the Forge with it.I would run two Frontline Medics instead of four. Boros is all about aggro, of which the Medic won't help with so much.I'd drop two Firemane Avengers. It's a nice card, but you don't want to be flooded with them. That puts us to 55 cards.I'd drop the Boros Elite. It's not that great and it has a hard time standing alone (which, in retrospect, Boros shouldn't be doing at all, but it does happen.) that brings us to 51. Now to put in: 4 Boros Reckoner (if you have them). It's a fantastic card, both offensively and defensively. 2 Legion Loyalist. Again, awesome card, and it's battalion is one of the best.3 Madcap Skills. If you ever do aggro that uses red, Madcap is a must. It's amazing :)

and there we go :)
Edits done. How does it look now?
So I need a sac engine then... hmmm....
They also provide the ultimate "You can't touch me" bubble with Asceticism, Melira, and Unlife, although I just realized it also needs Platinum Angel to make it the perfect bubble, so it may not be worth it. I don't understand how it makes an infi loop with Woodfall Primus

Replace Altar of Bone with Birthing Pod and the deck is Modern legal even! :D
