First off, you have to hold back from playing all of your effect minotaurs at once. I've made that mistake several times, and when the field gets wiped, you're gonna wish you saved Felhide Petrifier so your minotaurs after the wipe can have deathtouch and get rid of your opponents creatures.Save lightning strikes for creatures that your opponent controls that have potential to get nasty.NEVER swing with your effect minotaurs unless absolutely necessary, because 9 times out of 10, your opponent will get rid of it.Use Chandra and Mogis together, because Mogis's effect runs well with Chandra's +1, and you can deal damage very fast if nothing else, especially if your opponent can't/doesn't want to sacrifice.Try to get really high devotion to red as fast as possible, because when you play Fanatic of Mogis you deal damage to all opponents equal to your devotion to red. On top of that, you can use Mogis to swing 7 damage or block high damage creatures and usually kill them.
