Well, if he has the cards then it's no big deal, but I guess trying to buy it is a little difficult.

Sure. And Searing blood could substitute something, I'll think about it.

I suppose, I'll try getting my hands on some soon. They should be pretty cheap now. Also, I've decided to add a few Disciple of Deceits , because I can set up my control setting by dropping, say a Duress for a Shrieking Affliction, or say a Fate Unraveler for a Whispering Madness.

I like this idea. The exile part bothers me, but the tokens do survive Anger, as well as every played burn spell in standard besides Mizzium Mortars. I'll sideboard it for now, and test it mainboard later.

Of immortality? But you need the grave for your Psychic Spirals, which can be your win con. As for counterflux, counter spells have very rarely been useful if I hit them with an Experiment, and it can deal with most problems against the deck as is. As for guttersnipe, I haven't tried him in here, but my idea is that he will clog it a little. That I will try out though.

The expense is my problem. I'll just cram it in the sideboard for now, it IS pretty good either way.

Well, I COULD use it, but it's most likely to end up as a dead card in the end if i hit it with Epic Experiment. Bouncing the creature or Turn // Burning it will get it out of the way, or detaining it works as well, and those can be doubled over for Experiment too. But yeah, Curse isn't quite as practical here.

Okay, now I KNOW someone's got to love Gruul or Boros. I mean, R/W burn just won a standard SCG Open a few weeks ago, and EVERYTHING I see at FNM is either Jund or Gruul. Don't be shy, people!

Guttersnipe! I never thought about that. Another infinite combo win con, and I added a few Turn//Burn's to deal with normally untouchable creatures. Carpet munchers won't know what hit them!

What, stealing everyone's nice things in a D-Sphere or making us pay 12 mana to breathe? :)

It pretty much creams control Mono-Black, beats Brave Naya, but kind of just misses beating out Esper or America planeswalker control decks. It also seemed to stalemate against general heroic decks and Mono-Red creatures. If you would need something for the sideboard, I'd suggest siding against Black, some White, and definitely gods. Keranos can get fairly dangerous, and so can Athreos if it's a near mirror match.

Try some Scout's Warning's for more card draw and Flash. I think it would be a great way to pump Chapin of the Parish on their turn.

I like it! Maybe throw in some more card draw (like Bandage) to keep it going.

I've played a deck almost exactly like this, but with the Sovereign mainboard. It's pretty good, I don't know what else you could use. Cool deck though.

Okay, in response to the one-drop decks, I have created my own Red one-drop deck.
