Love it, but no Torpor Orb?

torpor orb is amazing, especially in todays meta, with snapcaster and stoneforge. and it shuts downs goblins also. but iv been playing against allot of bug tempo, and bug control decks, and everyones using abrupt decay because its such a hoser in legacy.
so my mega tech solution was vision charm. perfect synergy with the deck. gets out nought, fuels tombstalker, AND protects the nought from the uncounterable abrupt decay. and of course any other removal

Interesting build, and certainly effective. I'd forgotten about Diabolic Edict, that card is about to make my Omni-Show MU's about a million times more amusing :D

I really like the idea of using Vision Charm, it kills islandwalk from Fish at the worst case, functions as five cards for Tombstalker in a pinch, and keeps Dreadnought from being hit with Abrupt Decay when needed. It's a very effective tech card, but I wonder about if your opponents will try and force you to use it, by saving Abrupt Decay until the turn you aimed to swing.

thanks mang.

vision charm is for definitely pretty great. on top of doing all that stuff, it can cheat nought into play also. being able to play 8 cards that can combo with him makes it happen pretty consistently. he is a sucker for getting killed by everything though. hahaha

but yeah like you were saying im sure once they caught on to the vison charm antics they would try to play around it. : / they'll still have a 12/12 trample to deal with again next turn. though he'd be phased out and unable to block. it would definitely leave me open if i had nothing else out.

I like this - Legacy seems to be quite a tough territory, how has this being treating you? Not to sound like a kissass, but it screams professionalism... and bankruptcy ! hehe

in my opinion legacy is the best way to play magic. its alot more skill intensive, thats for sure, but thats what i enjoy about it. every tiny moves is important. just like in chess, in a good game of magic, there are no wasted moves! ;D

i havent been playing this lately, but when i was playing it put up decent results. it can definitely be extremely fast, and is incredibly mana efficient, but at the time i kept running into alot of maverick, and bug variants. if you notice i have 7 sideboard slots almost specifically for those matches ( shrivel, reanimate, deathmark(sometimes divert for bug)) both decks run alot of maindeck answers to dreadnought.

that's the thing, dreadnought dies to EVERYTHING. hes a big fragile glass monster.
that being said the deck is still powerful and if played in the right meta can be a hoser.

I like it, but I feel like you could get a little bit more utility out of the deck by adding in some techy non-basics to your land base. Just something to think about, otherwise I like it. Good trick with Vision Charm too =]

why reanimate in the board?

Great at Reanimating Goyfs and True Name Nemises. It's good for decks that have a lot of ways to deal with Dreadnought, like UWR and BUG Delver. You bring in your Removal and Reanimates and take out some # of Noughts.
