In playing this I saw no use for Engineered Explosives. I replaced them with Whispersilk Cloak. they protect Marit Lage and allows you to bypass their defenses.
Haven't tried it yet I only just made it Friday night. However my "mill" deck has a similar theme and works fairly well in standard, if only through shock value.
This is the worst deck I have ever seen.
Good Idea with the armored ascension. Sorry but I only have 2 vanguards.

Can you tell me why chrome mox is in there is there some special trick to it or what? Same with Engineered Explosives, what am I supposed to do with these very expensive cards?

Slivers cannot be used competitively. All of them are banned in standard and most of them are banned in extended. However casually this deck can win in turn 5 with a good draw, and if not it stays extremely competitive throughout the game. Making it killer in single player and even more fun in multi-player. The only problem is the deck is too powerful. Whenever I am in a multi-player game agenst people I have played before they all recognize that if they even give me an inch I will steamroll them within a few turns, so everyone decides to bum-rush me in the very beginning of the game. TLDR: It works just fine for me.
Point taken with these I take a more direct approach at dealing damage, instead of simply waiting to draw guilty conscience.

Vinh gave me Essence Sliver. I really like the effect, and I was wondering witch card I should replace it with. I was thinking Darkheart. Thoughts?
You do realize that this deck has got to be at least $300, and would be slow as hell. Cool idea tho.
So it would be possible to run Sliver Queen and Sliver Overlord with this deck.
Also, Gemhide's effect: Does that mana come from your deck, or are you creating some sort of "mana token"?
It also seems that the symbol for infinity changes to an 8 on this site.
Question: Say I have Root Sliver, Toxin Sliver, Spitting Sliver, and a 1/1 sliver token on the field. My opponent has a theoretical 8/8 creature with trample on the field. If I attack him with my 1/1 sliver token with first strike and Toxin Sliver’s ability, and he defends with his theoretical 8/8 creature; will my 1/1 sliver token kill his creature without taking damage?
