I prefer “Ajani’s present” more than “Defiant Strike”. Trying to get advantage from Draw card and pump in the same time is a great idea. But It’s doesn’t help you to keep your creature. Since number of creatures in your deck is low. Every creature is important. I think It’s too risk to use defiant strike.

Return to the rank is the best sideboard card against control/Abzan Deck (Despite, thoughtseize ) While you cannot protect your creatures for many reason but you still can call them back.

Mortal’s Ardor and Ordeal of Heliod is great against aggro Deck that you already have. And I think it’s good enough.

Brimaz, King of Oreskos is one of my favorite sideboard card . it will help you Control (Or Don’t let opponent control) the board by attack and defense in the same time/Create cat solider.

Another one I want to suggest you is Disdainful Stroke. It will be very helpful When you meet a “Big Spell Deck”.
