Thank you for the comments. I appreciate the advice. I used to run a similar deck with the Vampire Aristocrats but I want to keep this standard. I can't remember the name of the card but there is a card coming out for M12 that has a similar ability as the Bloodthrone so that would take the place of the Aristocrat. Skittering Invasion and It That Betrays are great suggestions and I will sideboard those. I think I might take out the Tezzeret's Gambits for Gensis Wave.

Thanks for the insight. This is still a work in progress I just thought I would put it out there to get some ideas. I was thinking about adding some Signal Pest, Contested War Zones to help out and maybe something like Journey to Nowhere as well.

You may want to try adding Liquicoated Metal to combo with Rust Tick. I was actually thinking of making a deck very similar to this.

Bloodthrone Vampire and Consuming Vapors and you can even look at Demonic Appetite.

I haven't tried it yet but I will this week and I will post how it did to let you know. I do love the Ichorclaw Myrs. But I wanted to try something a little different.

I forgot to mention up top that I really like the Flensermite combo with Vines or Groundswell. Big infect and gain life. I am thinking about building a G/B infect deck and that will definitely will be a combo i will use.

Mitotic Slime is a nice creature to sac to your Bloodthrone. Makes your Bloodthrone a 14 - 14 with its ablilty. Then abuse your Bloodghast by sacrificing them and then top it off with Unnatural Predation.

I would run at least 4 Terramorphic Expanse just to help you get land out that you may need. Explore is nice but I would rather run something like Cultivate or Horizon Spellbomb. My other thoght would be to take out the Explore and run the Lead the Stampede. I also myself like running Necropede in my infect decks. I like that -1 -1 counter ability. I also like Stabbing Pain -1 -1 ability as well as causing a creature to tap. This can actually help sneak in some big infect damage by taking away a possible blocker.

How about Magnetic Mine?

You are running Flame Slash, Doom Blade and Vendetta. I would take either Doom Blade or Vendetta out and run some Necropede. Also maybe try a play set of smoldering spires as part of your red land. It helps make a creature not able to block. I use it in my infect deck and it can really help sneak out wins. It wouldalso help alot if you could get a hold of some Dragonskull Summits and some Blackcleave Cliffs. You may also want to try some Terramorphic Expanse just to help you go get land that you might need. You really should run at least 12 to 16 creatures. Also Thanks for commenting on my deck.

I would get rid of the Master's call, your running Origin spellbomb's, Trigon of Mending don't need, true Conviction cost to much sideboard it if you want. accorder's shield can go. You kind have alot going on here. You may want to scale back some and get some 4 of in there. You can make this a pretty fast deck with some Signal Pest, Memmite's and some Orinthopter's. Add a couple more Glint Hawk Idols and maybe some Tempered Steel. Get some Contested War Zone's. Magic's build a budget section has a pretty good Aggro deck with white and artifacts. check it out it will give you a good base to use.

Prototype Portal is GREAT! I play it in a black/artifact deck. The decks name is Heavy Metal if you get a chance please check it out. I have been waiting for some one to give me some advice on the deck.

you need to run at least 23 - 24 lands. Even if you ran like 10 island and 10 swamp with 4 terramorphic expanse, if you have some more drowned catacombs (3) or some Jwar Isle Refuge would be nice. Go with at least 4 Mana Leak and at least 4 preordain. Distortion strike is a great card in a deck like this. It works well with Phyrexian Vatmother. I would rather run Doom Blade or Go For the Throat over Smother in the main deck and sideboard smother. You may want to look at Inexorable Tide and maybe a coupe Foresee. Hope this gives you some ideas.
