Why would Nyx Fleece replace WoE?

Jace, Architect of Thought is better until rotation simply because he can filter through the deck and possibly get you what you need faster. Also have you considered putting in Mizzium Mortars? I'd also run 1x Mogis and 1x Keranos instead of 2x Keranos and 1x Mogis but I like that you put Mogis in here. I was thinking at first he wouldn't do much good but that is a nifty ability he has.

Think I'm going to try putting a Grixis Control deck together myself...lol

That just seems like a hassle that isn't even worth it. I could just use Garruk's ability to put him straight on the battlefield from my hand. But I did see the card and thought about putting it in at first. Just changed my mind after thinking about it.

Cool, thanks a lot. I should have thought of Witchstalker and I'll check the other cards out.

I'll agree with Nylea's Disciple, just not sure what I'd take out for it. I shouldn't really need Karametra's Acolyte since I have 7 cards that can ramp mana.

Yea I wanted to share the tweet but Twitter is blocked on my work's network. The reddit post had the link to the twitter post though.

But again, this isn't a serious deck draft and there probably would be at least 2x Chain Veil in any serious one. I was just putting something together in a hurry.

Read the link I provided. A level 3 judge at first said it didn't work but it turns out that it does. You can activate the planeswalkers abilities an infinite amount of times with that combo.

Idk. I did want to add more. Help out though, what would you take out for an extra one? I couldn't decide.

Np. also, more Jace's to help you filter through the deck. These colors don't have access to Sphinx's Revelation so they'll need it.

No sideboard or anything yet but please leave comments and ideas on changes that could be added to maybe make the deck some what competitive. Hope the community at least enjoys the idea. Also like to add that I put this deck together in like 6 minutes, lol.

A RUG control deck without Sylvan Caryatid?? That should be a four of in a deck like this.

Eight counters is waay too much for the maindeck. You only have four spot removal cards along with your 4 board wipes and Elspeth. I'd shave off one Elsepth, One AEtherling, and drop the four Render Silent all together for some main deck spot removal. Midrange decks or quick aggro decks would be too aggressive for this guild. The only thing this deck would cause issues for is a mirror control match.

I'm hoping that isn't the case but if it is oh well. My FNM ratings will go down cause I'm very good at midrange decks but still, could be fun.

Yea I'll try both out and see which I like better. I wanted those spots because heavy aggro decks or midrange decks that play the mentioned creatures late game will give me issues and I'd rather have answers for them in the sideboard besides a stall and Blind Obedience.

Touche. Well now it's between AEtherspouts and Rapid Hybridization. Leaning more towards Rapid just cause it's cheaper and it's actual spot removal.

Don't really think Polymorphic Jest works in this deck that well but I do like that card. I also like AEtherspouts except it's 5 mana and my opponent gets to choose what goes where. If I got to choose then that would be entirely different. I'm thinking I might try out Rapid Hybridization. Cause my walls can block the 3/3 frog lizard.

I've been looking over the sideboard for a while now and I've been wondering about Turn to Frog. Good little card to have and I was planning on bringing it in against decks that ran Stormbreath and Blood Baron. However if I don't have anything that can get rid of them I'd just be stalling for that turn. So my question to yall is: Should I run Rapid Hybridization instead? Gives my opponent a 3/3 frog lizard but a 3/3 frog lizard is better than Stormbreath Dragon and Blood Baron. Thoughts?
