Ever since the card was printed, I've toyed around with Singe-Mind Ogre. He's a 4 CMC cost card with a great ability, but you don't see him often in decks. Not sure if it's the 3/2 or the 'random' that scares people, but there's certainly a use behind the Singe-Mind, especially if you can constantly boomerang him to replay. The 'boomeranging' method came back to me when I was using an Illusion deck with Sunken Hope in it. "Every turn... Hmmm, this could be useful." After that, it was just a case of which cards should ALSO go in there, such as Ignite Memories (the more versatile spell-version) and maybe some Sedraxis Alchemists. Then came another thought: If I can Sunken Hope every upkeep, "why not give me an upkeep twice a turn?" So, Paradox Haze became an add-in. Overall, this is a randomized burn deck, complete with cards to make your opponent draw so you can then Singe them. And to make sure they have some nice 'n high CMCs in hand, there's hand revealers as well.
