Deck discussion for Standard Landdestruction

Is this deck vulnerable to early creature removal? Yes, but which deck isn't these days?
Is there a lack of early creature removal? Yes, but the trade off is that you can destroy the lands which are used to cast those creatures to get the advantage.
Is this deck a tournament winning deck? Probably not, but I like to create decks that are original in the current format. And it isn't that bad that it will lose to all the decks.

So, please, if you leave any comments, do not come up with any of the things I just mentioned. Any comment to make this deck more consistent are welcome.

I'm tempted to remove the Deathrite Shamans, because they only get active after I destroy the first land.

I would probably remove Chromatic Lantern and Biff in rakdos cacklers so you can get Ordeal of Nylea really fast. (why did this deck have the Lantern's anyway it doesn't really need mana fixing) Possibly add Fireshrieker or Dragon Mantle (adds speed/card draw and the potential of epic damage). Otherwise nice deck, land removal is a bitch to fight against in any format (always remove their singles or mana fixing lands first).

Thanks for the advice, I'll look into it.

The reason the Chromatic Lantern is in there is because it gives mana itself as well and which will make it easier to cast things after Ember Swallower has grown Monstrous.
The quick creatures with unleash, I'll look into those, because as you said, it makes the ordeals activate really fast.

Land Destruction to be effective needs to be consistent in its destruction, and is very difficult to master in standard. Wizards doesn't want really effective land destruction since it would make at least half of the current format unplayable. As to your deck, I have been working along the same lines. Only addition I can suggest is Bramblecrush, an all purpose removal spell, and add Mizzium Morters for crowd control. I would work without the Deathrite Shamens and cut out 1 Ember Swallower to make room. If a cheap (1 or 2 mana) blue bounce spell like Boomerang shows up in standard that can target lands, it would be a great help to make LD viable again. I play mono green and mono red Land Destruction in Legacy with moderate success. Happy destroying.
