I really like the deck, nice work! A few suggestions: take out the following cards: 4 Festival , 4 Spirtualize, 4 renewed faith, and 2 Aurification. Add 4 Ghostly Prison. The 4 Ghostly Prison basically does the work of most of the cards removed. That leaves you 10 slots to fill with a few choices. I'm really liking Riot Control for this deck. I also love Congregate, even Beacon of Immortality. March of Souls might be a nice mass removal spell for those creatures you can't handle or cause problems. Finally, I would like to see some type of artifact/enchantment removal in this deck. I have a slightly similar deck I use, and I have Akroan Horse in mine: http://www.mtgvault.com/biggeorge76/decks/sounds-of-war/

Ya I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do. I just wanted to write a fun post, drum up some interest in multiplayer, and share some of my 24 years of experiences playing multiplayer magic(almost exclusively non competitively). I would comment further, but Puschkin pretty much nailed it, and quite hilariously at that!
Yes for sure better choice...Danner, noticing all of your decks are multiplayer. I try and comment on all multiplayer decks on this site to drum up some interest. Every week or so I post a new multiplayer deck often times its a budget one. You might also like my how to multiplayer guide I posted. Check out some of my decks if you get the chance.
I like the deck for sure! Cool concept. A couple of thoughts: perhaps I am mistaken, but persist only works for creatures that are already in play. Wouldn't this not be the case with your Anvil of Bogardan? I assume your idea was to draw with the Anvil and discard persist creatures. I don't think that will work. Also, I would like to see some type of removal in this deck. Something to get rid of creatures/artifacts/enchantments. Also, you are a little lite on flyers, and could run into problems being able to block them--especially in multiplayer.
Cool elf deck! I like it. Wirewood lodge over Oran?
Awesome deck! I have one very similar I play, and it works great. One piece of advice though: your going to have major mana problems. Suggestions to shore up mana base: add to 24 lands: one of which = thawing glaciers. I would also add 4 cultivates. Perfect card for this deck. Suggestions about deck in general: I would up it to 4 Dragonmaster Outcasts. Also, this deck is begging for a couple Asceticism. Cards to lose: Dragon's claw, dragon whelp, shivan dragon, crown of flames, ghitu firebrathing, and Mana Flare (helps your opponent way to much in my opinion) The reason I say you can loose the fire breathing enchantments is because they simply won't be needed. I know from experience, I rarely ever have to use the ability. I have enough dragons to just run over my opponent. Also, there is a dragon, I forget at the moment, that makes ALL your dragons get firebreathing. Ill look it up when I get some time.
Ahh excellent! I'm glad I helped, You are very welcome. And I totally missed that infinite loop. The Alloy Myr makes a big difference for sure.
Ya I get what you are saying fully. Keep in mind all comments I make are with multiplayer in mind. My thoughts are that, as much as I hate to say, Agrothian Enchantress could be the slot. Don't get me wrong, she's an awesome card, but you're getting draw power from Eidolon. Also, you cant target her PERIOD so none of your enchantments will be able to go on her. Also, I'd love to see one replenish in this deck.
Thanks for the input! However, Necro needs to do combat damage to a player to get counters, while mephidros allows it to happen with ANY damage. Most all my creatures deal damage by taping, so therefore in this instance, Mephidross >Necropolis. However, that doesn't mean that Mephidros AND a Necro couldn't coexist in the same deck. I'll sideboard it. Thank you again,
Cool deck, a little light on creatures. Yavimaya Enchantress please!
I really like where you are going with this deck for sure! However, I see one major problem you are going to have...MANA. Hour of Reckoning = 3 white, and a few of your creatures spells also have 2 white or black. You have extremely minimal ways to get 2-3 white, and 2 black mana. You need to shore up this for this deck to function properly I believe. Beckon Apparition and builders blessing can go, that's two slots. Two cranial Plating, that's 4. Servant of Tymaret is 5. Use those five slots for a black/white mana land. You have many options dependent on your budget.
Oh also another thought. What do you do if everyone simply refuses to draw? No way to force it with your cards. Yes you get a bunch of land, so maybe that last slot could be used for an exsanguinate? An alternate win condition incase they simply refuse the draws. Also since the Adv Gear is gone no need for Kahlni. So maybe Sakura-Tribe Elder? Or a Solemn Simulacrum? Does similar things plus as one draws you a card and both serves as blockers. Or maybe yet another win condition with those 4 slots in place of Kahlni?
I agree, I think also 4 Skull Clamps is a bit much, I'm thinking maybe 2. Maybe even the 4 dark rituals. That would give you 10 slots used to shore up defense and protect Ob. I'm liking General's Kabuto for that. It makes it difficult to target him, and he will be able to block anything and live. Volrath's Stronghold in place of the 2 TE's. It will alow you to bring back your creatures to be "reclamped" And even bring back the Ob. So that's 6 slots left. I know the point of Dark Ritual is getting mana so you can cast Ob. But its a dueling card. I also don't think its needed with all your land searching abilities. There are so many options at this point. A nice cheap blocker = Deadly Recluse. Death touch does wonders in Multiplayer, it makes your opponent look the other way. I'm maybe even thinking Recurring Nightmare. that's one slot left. Another blocker of some type I guess, up to you. Test it, even with these additions you may run into issues. If you do, you could always take out a few sorceries. Goodluck ;)
Looks like a cool deck! Is this specifically a standard multiplayer deck? My suggestions depend on that.
I like it for sure! I absolutely love pestilence! A few things: why not sword of feast and famine and/or sword of light and shadow? Also, i see mana problems with this deck. 20 lands in a multiplayer deck, or a two color deck needs more than 20 land. I go 24 in mine always. You could lose incremental blight and soul ring. The other two slots are up to you.
Looks cool I like it! A multiplayer deck with Crypt Ghast is simply begging for an exsanguinate or two or four! Cards I think you could drop: Charcoal diamond, reassembling skeleton over tenacious dead, guildscorn ward, Pharika's Cure, dark ritual. In a multiplayer game I also like to go 24 land.
Cool deck! I like it. I'm thinking you could drop red. That would also allow you to drop the 4 Ignot and one land. That gives you 5 extra slots, and 2 dreadbore replacements and 3 boldwyr replacements. dread bore = vindicate, a better card overall anyways. That leaves 8 slots. I would go some nice blockers. You have many options: beloved chaplain, palace guard, Vampire Nighthawk, the list goes on. But some type of blockers to hold the fort until you get out Ob and Maralen. Also, some way to protect/bring back those two cards would be nice as well.
I love the concept behind this deck for sure! However, I do see a few problems with it. 1. I think you are simply going to get overrun quickly. Your defenses are lacking, and in a multiplayer setting you'll have many threats to deal with and little defense. 2. Ob is going to be target #1 with a VENGANCE. You have no way to protect or bring back your main win condition. Moreover, without Ob out, most of your cards actually help your opponents.
Thanks! I'm glad you like it. I specialize in multiplayer decks (and budget ones) check out my profile and see the other decks I have. Also, I do my best to comment on multiplayer decks on this site to give them some love. Also, another great person on this site when it comes to multiplayer is Puschkin. He also has several stellar multiplayer decks. Here is a link to one of his decks: http://www.mtgvault.com/puschkin/decks/pick-wisely/
Looks cool for sure! (comments made with multiplayer in mind) I love the concept. I assume the win condition is Melira and Everlasting Torment? Their creatures go bye bye, and yours stick around? If that is the case I'd like to see some bigger creatures to do some more damage to the opponents quicker. Also, Melira is going to be target number one with a vengeance, you need something to protect her.
