Liking your deck I just proffered to keep it to standard. I tried to make it a little aggro. The kessig wolf run day breaker combo can be brutal but stuffy is the star of the show. Stromkirk just gives people something to concentrate on before the big surprise lol

If the essense of this is fling wouldn;t reverberate work well to help that along ? aswel as Chandra the Firebrands second ability, effectivly giving you 2 to 3 times the amount of fling chances ?

Also exquisite blood would help make Jarad useable allot more dont you think ?

I found the flash ability to be able to bate people into blocking an arbor elf works well what would you suggest as a replacement ?
Thinking about it there may be a few more benefits to changing it out for Yeva, Nature's Herald, that way I can flash in Geralf's Messenger or tormented soul would give me a mana advantage for my next turn and Geralf's Messenger would be untapped sooner, what do you think ?

Hi, thanks so much for your reply, my reasoning for adding grounded is based on the fact that its enchantment rather that an instant, against blue It seems a better use of a card in my upkeep, that way if it gets dispelled urban Burgeoning opens up 1 mana for snare the skies on opponents turn I think I would be too inclined to use up 2 mana with plumet too often tapping out mana and not allowing enough to regenerate wolfir avenger if I needed too.

As for urban burgeoning...Amazing card I love using it but I am trying to think about different outcomes.
If for instance I draw no flash creatures I have an increased chance of relying on arbor elf, avacyns pilgrim for the first 3 turns, forced adaption has saved me countless times and also helped me secure a win with a 12/11 attacking arbor elf

Just my personal opinion but High Priest of Penance crossed with deadly allure would be brutal :p

especialy if you could also find room for a couple undying evil, would make him allot more aggressive instead of just a defense character

Predator's Gambit is a nice card i'll defiantly look into that one, would be nice on a draw with tormented soul as it dosent have to worry about being attacked.
I have just been having some success with righteous blow too, it seems like a surprise card for people thinking its an easy block against an exalted 1/1 or 2/1 if that makes any sense. they block with a lower value target and righteous blow takes it out.

I guess your right mate now the only problem with spirit mantle is that its not legal in standard :-/

but would that not be counter intuitive to exalted ?
I mean if I was to have say 6 land on the field then I would be able to have more creatures with exalted in 1 turn for my tank to get a buff from.. ?
