Deck Description

I have been creating this over the past couple of hours and sofar i'm pretty impressed with what I have.

This started off originally as a green/ blue deck using the urban burgeoning effect to ether flash cast a creature or to leave my mana open to use a negate or some kind of dispel but found that this was taking away from the aggressive nature of the deck.

I found the urbad better suited to protect my creatures from spells, rather than stop the effect happening I added ranger's guile to stop it effecting me.
This has proven to help me out in many sticky situations.

the fact that the majority of my creatures use flash and I can get ambush viper out on turn 2 I can just sit back and build my mana up until my oponent taps for mana then I bring in the big guns, i.e use briarpack wolf for an unexpected making arbor elf a 4/3 with death touch.

due to the surprising nature of some of the flash combinations you can come up with it has fooled allot of first strike players not by hitting them first but by making sure my defense stays above their damage capabilities.

This deck is more, reactive then pro-active in the sense it is best suited to casting your creatures in your opponents upkeep.

This setup sofar is very aggressive attacking each turn if able because nothing scares the crap out of someone as much as deathtouch can so use that to your advantage; see your creatures as expendable but if you have it giant growth/ flash briarpack combo can make even an ambush viper survive a 5/5 attack.

Rancor is just a given in this deck because as I mentioned see your creatures as expendable but rancor will help the damage go through so it wont be in vein.

whats scarier that knowing your measly 2 mana ambush viper is not only gonna kill anything that stands in its way but its also going to drive damage through to you too ?
how about a 12/10 wolfir avenger/rancor/giant growth/ wolfir silverheart combo ?
this will take you 7 mana which is chump change when you got an arbor elf our 2 out on the field.
and if that dosent tickle your fancy how about a silverheart with deathtouch and rancor boosted by a giant growth making for a 13/11 attack with trample.

I am currently creating a sideboard to help with air removal but the way this deck has been working they use most of their flyers to block oncoming attacks so sofar it hasn't been much of a problem

Ive had allot a fun playing this deck what you guys think ?

How to Play

Flash a creature in when your enemy taps his mana leaving your mana on your turn for your enchantments, urben burgeoning helps to open up mana in mid game for your reactive abilities and bigger flash creatures.

Deck discussion for Flash Green Assassin(Standard)

I would remove 2x grounded from the sideboard and replace it with plummet and/or snare the skies.

17 lands seems a little short. I have a little experience with urban burgeoning and it would allow you to run fewer lands in a flash heavy deck, but only two seems like too few. I think the deck would be stronger if you took out the 2x forced adaptation and added the last two urban burgeonings.

Hi, thanks so much for your reply, my reasoning for adding grounded is based on the fact that its enchantment rather that an instant, against blue It seems a better use of a card in my upkeep, that way if it gets dispelled urban Burgeoning opens up 1 mana for snare the skies on opponents turn I think I would be too inclined to use up 2 mana with plumet too often tapping out mana and not allowing enough to regenerate wolfir avenger if I needed too.

As for urban burgeoning...Amazing card I love using it but I am trying to think about different outcomes.
If for instance I draw no flash creatures I have an increased chance of relying on arbor elf, avacyns pilgrim for the first 3 turns, forced adaption has saved me countless times and also helped me secure a win with a 12/11 attacking arbor elf

thanks for taking the time to post man I really apreciate it.
