I got the idea for this deck through my own half-assed defender deck. I noticed the combo after I got an Illusionist's Bracers. It's a deck that focusses on Axebanes and Doorkeepers, but after discovering how effective the Bracers were on Tidewater, that's when all the pieces fit together.Every card in this deck is 100% useful, not a single "filler" card. And besides that, it's low budget. - Retraction Helix in Sideboard is for shits 'n' giggles. You'll be able to put as many nonland permanents into their owners hand as you want.
The thing you'll want for the combo is 1xTidewater Minion and 1xIllusionist Bracers. If you have these things you have infinite untapping of any permanent. This is useful especially with Axebane/Overgrown Battlement and Sands of Delirium/Doorkeeper (or Ring of Three Wishes to search for all you need). It works well with Bonded Fetch/creature with Oracle's Insight if you want to go through your deck for win conditions. Fog Bank is mainly for survivability and Oracle's Insight. Grozoth is for searching your deck, he shouldn't be too hard to get on the battlefield if you get Overgrown Battlement and Axebane Guardian.
