well the object of the deck is basically to pump up your devotion to black so when you pull asphodel you can deal massive damage could use some help with the side board and any ideas would be appreciated

You only have four cards that can trigger Agents of Fates' heroic ability, perhaps you want to consider going in for more things to trigger heroic or removing it entirely.

Hey, I like the deck and I'm definitely no expert at magic considering I just started playing again a couple months ago but I'll just give my 2 cents on this. First, you don't actually have abhorrent overlord in your deck, but mention it in your game plan, I'd take out the lifebane zombies and put them in your sideboard cause they're more counters to specific colored decks. I'd also use hero's downfall in your main deck and put doom blade in the sideboard because if they are playing against planeswalkers or black it'll be a useless card. I don't really understand the purpose of boon of erebos in this deck, I think return from the underworld would be amazing with this amount of devotion, and if you discard abhorrent with pack rats you can get it back from the graveyard for 5 instead of 7 to play it. Lastly, if you're going to use underworld connections you probably want a bit more mana because it uses your mana to draw.
yeah i forgot i took him out xD and i love lifebane and his intimidate just makes him even better and the reason doom blade is in the main is because its a kill card for 2 and if they got planeswalkers ill sub in the downfalls and erberos is in there to save my creatures like with its regen ability and to help me finish some one off :P but thanks for the imput i might use that return from the underworld but im not sure i want to try and keep away from many cards that dont stay on the field or only have 1b
I'd use 2-3 more small creatures, and exchange 2-3 swamps for Nykthos Shrines, let's say, 19 swamps-3 Shrines. I play a vampire devotion deck (modern), and having 2 Nykthos' at my disposal is awesome! I can summon everything and NUKE as fast as it gets!!! I know this is more of a control deck, so no more than 2-3 small creatures needed, but 22 lands+ is a must, high cc means lots of lands if you don't play green ramp or blue fast draw decks :/
