Deck Description

Infinite tun deck using Magosi the waterveil and proliferate combo's with echo mage and lighthouse chronologist. Also chucked in the galvanoth for further fun time combo's.

Secondary win condition could come from proliferating yourself a bunch of 9/9 golems out to either buy time to set up the infinite turns or just bash outright.

Deck discussion for Infinite proliferate

When I saw the card Magosi, the Waterveil, I had to make a deck around it, there had to be a way to make unlimited turns. Here, maybe I don't see it because, you can put as many counters on it as you wish but once you use it's ability they fall off when you return them back to your hand and become useless. I have a different idea for it using Rings of Brighthearth if you would like to take a look at it or feel free to use it if you want, the link is:

Ah bugger, didn't read the card properly!

Question though. If I chucked in a couple more Lighthouse chronologists then wouldn't their level 7+ ability (another reason for the proliferate) make the initial cost of putting an eon counter on magosi the waterveil less harsh?

The thing with Lighthouse Chronologist is your extra turn via the Chronologist, would come after your oppnent's turn. like so: your turn, opponents turn, (extra turn), your turn, opponents turn, (extra turn), your turn.... So you would get an extra turn each turn but it would follow the other players turn but still it's nice to have and yes you can add level counters on him with Proliferate to use is ability a whole lot faster (as long as they are same copy as level counters on him). Another idea is Rings of Brighthearth, then if you paid the cost of the Rings your turns would go: your turn, opponents turn, (extra turn), (another extra turn), your turn, opponents turn and so on.

Quickly gone and re-edited it! I do like your idea with the rings but was aiming on keeping the deck standard-legal.

Added the titan forge to further use the proliferate mechanic and give yourself a bunch of 9/9's to have fun with.

Yeah, Titan Forge is a great choice, I ran him in last FNM, I got one in a pack then the other one was passed to me so I based my deck around him. I got 2nd place ended up drawing him and bring out titans two to three a game plus tossed in a few Myr for mana. I was very surprised on how fast I got them out, but proliferate was the main key for his ability.

Galvanoth, Pyromancer Ascension and anything that proliferate with Pyromancer Ascension is wicked, But, I would add more burn spells though.

Lets say you use Galvanoth's ability and your Pyromancer has two counters on it, play Lightning Bolt with Galvanoth's for free (if it is on the top of your deck) it is copied by Pyromancer, then play Reverberate: Which copies Lightning Bolt, then being a instant copies itself through Pyromancer Ascension, then copies Lightning Bolt again. So your lightning bolt alone for only two mana from the Reverberate does 12 damage, if it is lets say a Lava Axe which is 5 damage copied and played with Pyromancer, Reverberate and Galvanoth 20 damage game over. Wow, let me check on something with copying the Reverberate with Pyromancer Ascension I think that may go into an infinity loop with like a Lightning Bolt or any burn spell.

Genesis! It is an infinity damage combo with any burn spell, damn now I got to make a deck around it, lol
copying a copy making another copy of another spell or instant over and over.

Ok I got ahead of myself but still, 12 damage for two or three mana isn't bad I made up a deck with the combo and a little bit more plus it's standard legal, feel free to check it out if you would like maybe get some ideas.

I thihnk youre low on lands, for a pretty curvy mana curve, you have only 31% land....
I tried a few draws and most of the time there were mana issues....
nevertheless, I really like this deck, but i think it lacks some win conditions (having infintie turns is nice, but you need to have something to do with them) on top of titan forge, maybe put womcoil engine, or another big creaure.

anyway, good luck with your deck
