I love the combination of Madcap skills and alpha authoriy to make an unblockable hexproff guy. Never thought of that. Why don't you run any mutavault?
With Farseek I can get Varolz, the Scar-Striped out sooner. I don't like to play him with just 3 lands. He's normally better if you can scavange as soon as he comes into play. I know Emissary can play Lotlith or Jester, but it could help at least. (Make then cost one less)
Sideboard help would be great!!!
I'm not set on a sideboards any thoughts would be nice.
What would you take out of the side to add elixir?
I really don't know what my meta is like. I am going to go next Friday and see. I just wanted something to get started without spending tons. I'm used to playing Legacy.
Yeah sweet card but for $30 a pop it's gonna have to wait a little while.
I was thinking Mugging as a second choice for searing spear. It doesn't kill as much but the blocking aspect could be useful.

It's casual the people I play normally don't play control or combo. Thanks for the point about first strike. I should may be use first stile creatures and then give them death touch with Deadly Allure.
Yes, because most of the people I play use aggro decks. With the exception of some burn.
It's a slow control game, but you have to make sure you don't play Stasis to early.

It's all about who you play. Nissa Revane and Nissa Chosen are good suggestions!
Oh and may I suggest changing the Frozen Aether with Orb of Dreams it's a little cheaper to play.
