Deck discussion for Super aggressive naya reborn :)

Hey I hate to be an asshole, but this was a top tier deck last set.... all that's different is your land base and noble hierarchic. Also, goblin guide.....

i love your your to be an a-hole lol and i will say that i did not look at anyone else's deck before i made this, the reason i made this is because i played my friends naya last night and found it very fun.

but i will take your first sentence as a compliment rather than an attack considering i made this deck simply clicking the "add card" button then specifying the colors i wanted then looking through the cards that appeared :) now if you have any constructive critism i would love to hear it!

That's a-ok I just knew this was top tier because I used it lol. The fact that you didn't know is pretty boss! I can help you make it better though. Add hellspark elementals for a quick 3 dmg. turn 2 also, Also try and get you hands on some bloodbraid elves and captured sunlights.... That is all.

the problem with hellspark is that he dies at the end of turn:-/ granted he does have unearth but still....
i definitely already bloodbraid because he is a beast by himself:) i loves it!

i'll have to look into captured sunlight though! thanks!

the problem with captured sunlight is the mana cost and the fact that its a sorcery:-/ if it were an instant i would definitely give it more consideration though!

I agree, but I'm a big fan of cascade! My fav. ability personally. I mean 4 to gain for life and possibly cascade into goblin guide or wooly thoctar is invaluable...at least in my opinion.

i agree i love cascade! its just the card for this deck i think:p i would prefer the thoctar personally :)

Man, I always get ready to give my best advice, but then it turns out to be a deck not in standard form, and I'm just like "....D:"
Sorry man, I started playing when Scars of Mirrodin released. :/

I'll check your glint hawk, and just HOPE it's standard, haha.

Hahahaha, i just started reading the comments on this, and looky here. forgot i had commented :'D

but yeah, now I can definitely comment. (:
how does titanic ultimatum do for you? maybe it's just me, but i feel as if hitting that cost would be half-hard. sure you have the hierarch and birds, but still. i think there are better card options.
even overrun, or overwhelming stampede could do better. usually those things are overkill, as is. lol.

also, some cards to consider could be grim lavamancer, and hero of oxid ridge. I love hero. not sure how he'd do in legacy, but his battle cry and basically inability to be chumped is fantastic. (:

also i'd side some beast withins. they really are great.

I dont ever really use titanic ultimatum! but i will tell you that the reason it is in here is because when i built this deck i was building all of its different counterparts(esper,grixis,ect....) and was determined to use the charms and ultimatums from each of them! it was sorta a deck challenge for myself=P
so are they necessary? not at all lol!

I love lavamancer! so what would you suggest to fit him in?

i honestly don't like goblin guide all that much... or the ultimatum... lol.
so either could go.
but i think goblin guide helps them a lot in most cases. if they're in a tight spot, and don't want to draw land, then you're giving them the extra draw... you know?

If you use the duals, why not have wild nacatls ? they will become 3/3 for one on T2 if you fetch the right lands? but its a nice deck

How does this play out? i was just going to make a deck like this but i thought the mana curve was a little screwey so i just scratched the whole idea and made a new hydra deck instead. Comment on it if you like http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=208331

Have you considered running Ranger of Eos vengevine combo? It's vicious in naya decks, because vengevines are pretty much impossible to answer to forever, which in naya decks it's really easy to do. Also, scute mobs is the close sister to Wild Nacatl, you might enjoy that too.

No i havent! but this deck already runs so well so i think i'm going to leave it as it, but i'll probably build a deck with what you're talking about!

Since its non standard, I've had tons of fun with Congregation at Dawn in my naya deck.

I've got a one of Enlisted Wurm, then put a Bloodbraid under it, and anything 3 or less under that. Little more late game but you can cast the instant at your opponents end step and then get 3 creatures the following turn.

Even if its just Bloodbraid -> something cheaper -> another bloodbraid for another cascade the turn after.

Looks a lot like the usual Legacy lists, just with less effective beats and bigger slower spells.

He is a HUGE help! t2 woolly thoctar, t3 knight and now the thoctar is a 8/7! the knight is incredible in this deck!

0

sooo >> where is knight of the relinquary? o.o semms like he does good especially with some sac lands he comes in as b.a. plus hes a second two drop then can potentially be bigger then the wooly and thin your lands a little if need be.

How does the Naya card work?

And how well does it agaisnt mono-black rush with a lot of discard/removal?

0
Posted 17 July 2011 at 14:58

eh depends on the kind of removal and whatnot, give a deck link and i'lll let you know how this would fare =]

if anything.. i would find some room for a couple of Quasali Pridemages. Those things are beast aggro early rounds and awesome utilities mid-late game.

titanic ultimatum? really?
i'd rather run the new garruk... for his draw ability. it's hard to keep aggro engines going, and he gives you the ability to. hard to pass up over titanic ultimatum, at least imo.

I've just got a quick, annoying question for you, buddysystem. If you happen to know cool, if not, whatever, no big deal. but, do you happen to know how much this deck costs to make? Because i want to make something like this but i have a $150 dollar limit because i'm fine tuning my hydra deck with some rather expensive cards before i start this one.

0
Posted 26 July 2011 at 23:00

if you are on a 150 dollar budget this deck is far too expensive :( mainly because of his exellent but VERY expensive manabase

( I know im not buddysystem, but I knew the answer to your question)

0
Posted 27 July 2011 at 00:15

yes thank you ESPR! the mana base itself cost 1000+ dollars if i'm not mistaken! lol but i will come up with a more standard friendly mana-base and get back to you!
