Deck discussion for Eldrazi Spawns

you wouldn't get the free turn, because emrakul has to be played as a spell, not as an ability if you used spawnsire. seething song may be a card to put in here, and seen as you're using spawns comet storm might be another win condition, you have a mass army, you sacrifice them all for mana, comet storm easy 20 damage to player... or multiple players.... now that would be hilarious

haha yeah wow true I could burn them for ALOT of damage. But are you sure about Emrakul? Spawnsire's effect says "you may cast" as many Eldrazi without paying their mana cost, and Emrakul says "when you cast Emrakul" take another turn. It seems like Spawnsire's effect doesn't put the Eldrazi out for you, but it makes them cost zero to cast.

you're right. you do "cast" emrakul. and you do get your extra turn. i would suggest adding more fetch lands or some Oracle of Mul Daya.

you should check my eldrazi deck out. its not yet perfected, but it pretty good.

ya i guess, i just assumed spawnsire said "play" however not like it mattered anyways, once you have that cards ultimate, its game over

Nice idea. Try working in a All is Dust into the sideboard, it'll still be 'played' with Spawnsire's ability :p

Hmmm... just thought of something. Door of Destinies is (in my opinion) better that Coat of Arms because it effects only creatures you control and if some of the Elrazi get killed, it won't reduce the +x/+x they get from the Door. The only problem is it won't get counters for the Eldrazi Spawn, but it will for the Eldrazi Drones and Spawnsire.

Door of Destinies is better in alot of cases, but for this deck, I don't play as many "Eldrazi spells." I mostly play a single card that gives me 2 or 3 spawns, where in that case, I'd only get 1 counter on door of destinies as opposed to 3 counters from coat of arms. Trust me, I hold coat of arms until I go for the win. It works very nicely, especially when my creatures are flying indestructible and have vigilance as well as trample and first strike.
