Deck Description

I wanted to play something aggressive in modern so I decided that this would be my new fully competitive modern deck. Only thing is I dont have money for 4 tarmogoyfs.

I would replace 2 loam lions and 2 Woolly Thoctars for 4 tarmogoyfs if I did have the money though.

Suggestions are always welcome and appriciated. Thank you for your help in advance

How to Play

Most modern players know how this goes. You want to play Creatures with shocklands and essentially always try to get out a creature with power 2 or greater on turn one (the one exception being birds of paradise).

Turn two you have a couple of options:
-Land, qasali pridemage, attack
-Tapped Land, rancor, attack
-Land, rancor, attack, save land for bolt or path
-Attack, land, any 1-drop creature
-attack, tapped land, any 2 1-drop creatures
-land, loxodon smiter (if turn 1 birds)
-Land, Woolly thoctar (if turn 1 birds)
-Attack, Land, Save lands for helix or charm

ALL TURNS AFTER 2

You have even more options on turn 3 most of which are dependent on your matchup.

Midrange:
-cast your creatures as the ones you have in play are destroyed. Don't try to flood the board unless you have complete control and your opponent is in top-deck mode. You don't want to lose because you flooded the board when you didn't need to and had nothing left when the opponent casted a wrath.
-Remember you are an aggro deck. You don't need to worry about taking as much damage so feel free to spend all but one of your mana to pump your creatures and get in for extra damage. Likewise, don't be afraid to trade as you have tons of draws that will replace the creatures you had and will be just as big for only 1 mana (*cough* wild nacatl *cough*).

Infect:
- Game one will be challenging. Be careful about when you cast your removal spells. Don't waste too much time trying to block to stay alive. If you find yourself having to block, you probably already lost. Rely on removal spells and just race them (I know it sounds crazy) but this deck is FAST.
-Game 2, Mulligan aggressively to find removal spells because if you can kill all of their infecters, you will kill them. SB fulminator mage for Inkmoth nexus and any combination of artifact removal spells for their Spellskites that they will most likely be siding in. This is one of your hardest matchups but it can be won if you are careful when you cast your removal spells and don't let up just because you think you need to block.

Splinter Twin:
Game 1
keep you path to exiles to remove their target for the twin enchant and play your pridemages as early as you can. Again, don't let up the pressure and kill them as fast as you can.
Game 2
Sideboard your Wear//tear and Destructive revelry as well as torpor orb and gaddock teeg. These will help you stop them from comboing or not even allowing them to cast twin in the first place.

That's all the matchups that I can think of right now. Kinda drawing a blank. Let me know any suggestions for matchups I should plan for or cards to use against a certain deck. Thanks for any advice in advance.
