alrighty ladies and gentlemen. this is my take on lantern control. rather than run the jund version with ancient stirrings i have decided to run it in grixis. this gives me access to several very useful cards such as trinket mage and also allows me to activate my spellskites without paying life which i a deck that has little to no field presence seems like a bad day.the name of the game is using lantern and your other mill rocks to attempt to remove all relevant cards from your opponents deck before they can draw them and leave them the garbage draws. (hard to play magic when you don't have any cards).the difficulties i face running this deck come from aggro decks and burn decks which put alot of damage down range. most lantern decks try using ensnaring bridge to handle aggro but i have found that not only is this card over priced its slow as all getout. so i'm running anger of the gods and pyroclasm t try and turn the battle to my favor. especially since i will be trying to keep the aggro deck having a very solid mana base as their draws for most of the game once i set up.the decks price doesn't worry me too much as most of the really expensive cards i actually have (some of them i'm actually stunned at how expensive they are) but with some of these cards i really wanna get some opinions on the deck before i go investing this kind of cash.
