Deck Description

Starve them of mana then use serra's sanctum to wipe their board and fuel a Heliod. Based victory. Side in extraction for enchantment removal magus for creature heavy and mana tithe for a wonderful counterspell seeing as they will almost never have the extra one mana when the orb is down.

Deck discussion for mono white control

Try a few Chalice of the Void, I run them in my white control and they are a godsend as a 0 drop totally stopping affinity and a few of the other turn one builds, I could see where it would do even better for you in this with the fact that they are starved for mana you will never need more than 1 counter on it. great possible replacement for Mana Tithe since it will counter every spell they try to play

It won't grab everything but it is a great way to stop affinity decks. I was thinking stony silence for them but this actually seems better. Thanks for the idea. Any others? I'm thinking I need a secondary win con but I don't really know if I have a primary one. This decks makes my friends flip tables and quit but it's never had to actually go for broke and actually win by combat.

as long as you can get board control quickly you should have no problem with finishing off your opponent, if nothing else i would say get you some hard spot removal in there like Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile for anything that slips past the lock down you are using, you prolly dont need ghostly prison or sphere of safety, if you are locking up the mana they should not get many creatures and what they do get just spot remove

Spot removal sided. Prison and sphere are actually there to get the mana they do manage to scrape through. Many players manage to drop creatures that need be held back until I hit the sweeper. Mana being spent to attack helps get those lands that were untapped before winter orb hits

you could also try faster turn 1 mana like chrome mox or even sol ring if you wanted to get your lock out faster but other than that man u cant get too much more solid than this

leonin abunas could make a nice 5 drop if you think you may need some artifact protection, also if you think you need a good finisher you could try sword of body and mind just a few hits from even a tiny monster is almost a win for sure, sword of feast and famine is always good in just about anything with the ability to untap ALL lands you control, but check out my white control, i can keep the game locked down fairly well even from turn one with the right hand and trust me my deck flips tables lol

Found a rather good answer to "destroy all enchantment" cards. And it fits in the five drop slot. Also helps ramp sanctum
