No Life's Legacy, you could sacrifice a big Chasm Skulker going into another Chasm Skulker?

I would say being a budget deck, I would take out Verdant Haven for Seismic Assault and then run four Evolving Wilds for basic mana search, it would also help thin out the deck for better draws, only downside is they come into play tapped. You could also maybe run Satyr Hedonist instead of Zhur-Taa Druid for sacrificing to play Seismic Assault easier or Borborygmos Enraged for the additional three mana for it's casting cost.

Seismic Assault could be a better replacement for Borborygmos Enraged. It would be faster to play plus, it could start damaging before Borborygmos Enraged hits play.

Surgical Extraction could be great for this deck, dissecting those combo deck and removing cards for additional drawing on there part.

Necromancer's Stockpile maybe a great addition for this deck with Gravecrawler, draw a card, putting in a 2/2 zombie tapped, and then playing Gravecrawler, not bad.

You could run a little red and Fling those Phyrexian Dreadnought's for direct damage. Also it maybe a little weird but, play a Endless Whispers then find away to remove Torpor Orb, so when those creatures are in play and they die the other player suffers with creatures like: Eater of Days, Leveler, and Phage the Untouchable.

That is true, but I have been running zombies in modern and I have found Necromancer's Stockpile very affective for draw. I was thinking though you could totally lock up the game that is if they are not playing black with Gravecrawler and Contamination turning all lands into swamps.

Running Pack Rats, Mutavault is a must, plus why not run one more Underground Connections and Erebos, God of the Dead for draw then you could go to 23 lands, 4x Temple of Malady, 4x Mutavaults, 4x Overgrown Tomb, 2x Llanowar Wastes, and 9x Swamps?

Liking the deck, Gravecrawler is one of my favorites I have been running a zombie deck in modern that somewhat rotates around him. The idea that I was thinking is Lord of the Undead, Gravecrawler, and Necromancer's Stockpile: Discard Gravecrawler to Necromancer's Stockpile, you draw a card and put out a 2/2 zombie then use Lord of the Undead to put it back into your hand and repeat. Also an idea in legacy is Gravecrawler and Carrion Feeder, sacrificing Gravecrawler to Carrion Feeder and making him very big, hope these ideas may help.

Murderous Redcap could be a good choice, say you have Goblin Chieftain in play and then you sacrifice Redcap to a Goblin Gernade, that would be eight damage on the spot plus he then would come back into play with persist.

She could also feed into a Mycosynth Golem, making all those artifact creatures that much more easier to play. Chief Engineer and Mycosynth Golem could go off insane as well.

Master Transmuter is so good it gets overlooked: "Target my Transmuter ok thats fine, back to my hand she goes, oh and look a Blightsteel Colossus!"

Playing red and green you could also feed the Shrapnel Blast into a Hornets Nest putting out five 1/1 flying deathtouchers.

I see that most of your deck runs cards three or less mana. What about Raven's Crime, you could discard any extra lands and make the other player discard?

Nice deck, the only things I could think about would be Satyr Hedonist, for mana production to cast the Doom Engine a little quicker, and Magma Jet over Lightning Strike. It's one less damage but the scry ability comes in very handy.

Should run a Hall of the Bandit Lord and Marsh Flats in here, paying three life for 12/12 haster on turn two depending on your hand, and fetch lands are always great for thinning out your cards in the deck for better draws.

Leafcrown is good but, I would be interesting in running Renowned Weaver for an early drop. Haven't seen many people play her but, you could always block a chump creature and use her ability to toss out a 1/3 reacher or play a 1/3 reach at instant speed if need to as well. You may also not need any blockers for flyers because the bow is great for removing those low cost flyer as well.

I am trying to build a deck around Garruk too, for standard. It's an idea still need some testing but, thinking about running Gild. It Exiles one of your opponents creature plus gives you one more mana closer to play Garruk.
