Deck Description

This deck is meant to stall your opponent so that you can play the Sanguine Bond and Kicked Blood Tribute combo...but this is not the only win condition.

Malakir Bloodwitch was added as a beater and combos with Sanguine Bond and Wall of Reverence.

Another combo in this deck which works well is Bloodchief Ascension, Sanguine Bond and Day of Judgement. You will gain 2 life and deal 4 damage to your opponent for each creature that dies.

Sunspring Expedition is another cheap combo to use with Sanguine Bond. However it is less useful in late game. Thus the Solemn Offering can be used to blow it up for a quick 4 damage if you can't get the quest counters, the same goes for Bloodchief Ascension, or even Journey to Nowhere.

Deck discussion for Sanguine Tribute

I like the looks of it, really expensive deck but it looks solid. Where landfall really only helps your 2 sunspring catacombs I would suggest replacing the Arid Mesas and Verdant Catacombs with Kabira Crossroads and some other basic lands. Another nice card since you don't seem to have much of a budget with this deck is Baneslayer Angel, it's kind of ironic that she works so well with vampires but a 5/5 with flying, first strike, and most importantly LIFELINK could help you out.

True this isn't a budget deck, but most of the time I play with proxies. I totally agree with you that Baneslayer should be in this deck too, but I was using Malakir Bloodwitch as an additional vampire which could combo with Blood Tribute. Also Malakir Bloodwitch can stall an opponents Baneslayer since it's pro white.

As for Kabira Crossroads, this deck is already slow and having the land come in tapped is not good for this deck. The fetch lands make easy to have enough counters on the sunspring expedition so it can be sac'ed right after Sanguine Bond is played.

-1 Malakir Bloodwitch
-1 Day of Judgment
+2 Baneslayer Angel
