Preferably Ajani, with the mentor as support, so you can life gain him from land into a gigantic untouchable dude, short of a board wipe. Other than that, just draw, disrupt, and destroy anything you can on the way there. It's slower with the tap lands, but those are for Ajani and almost everything you'd need earlier in the game is 3 CMC or less.
