Deck Description

EDH Jhoira. Not a friendly deck nor will I make any claims for it. This is meant to fight Kaalia, Sliver Lords, Rhys, and other very efficient (some may say cheap) generals in our meta. Mass LD, C-blocking, and being a general nuisance is fairly typicaly for our games. I typically try to run fewer specialty lands due to ruination being popular, but I am looking to get some pain or possible original dual options.

How to Play

Jhoira has a very simple plan; get her out with enough protection to survive to an untap step, to start suspending, and then to interfere with opposition until you are sending fatties from space.

Deck discussion for Jhoira, Time Cannon

I have a Jhoira edh deck and i am hated and targeted instantly, mostly not because of all fatties( ulamog, kozilek, phyrexian collossus)
But because of infinite turns that the deck can spawn, or because you can at turn 5 - 6 have a fattie suspended and obliterate/jokullaups everything and next turn have a fattie in play.... red can wipe board give you extra attacks, since you have beacon of tommorrows i would recommend Planar Portal 14 mana and you have infinite turns, my version has a more of a artifact mana ramp so that i do not depend on jhoira all the time because everywere i play everyone uses pithing needle and always says Jhoira...

Time strech and capsize are your friends jace beleren has a 80% chance of staying on the field for 10 turns or more( greedy players) with a good political abilitie you draw 2 they draw one everyones happy...

palinchron and caged sun in my deck since is a bit more blue than red, gives you inf. mana

Sakashima the Impostor is a total bad ass, and has won me many games, can copie legendarys since the name remais sakashima and returns to hand so you can copie any creature that returns inst and sorcerys to hand (ex time wap) so you have insta turns, since i have 6 etb(enters the battlefield) creatures that returns my stuff from the graveyard i have deadeye so it can combo to infinite.

Boseiju is a must....

Riptide Laboratory is another combo maker...

Definitely love Palinchron with any form of mana abuse, but even though this is built as a mean/aggressive play style we have a house rule for infinite combos. Albeit this doesn't stop the absolute shenanigans that can occur Jhoira is less effected by it. I am looking to add the Sakashima love to this once I acquire him. Boseiju is on the list, but I find tutoring for decree of annihilation is almost every game simply to cycle EOT before fatties and spells land. We have a mind break trap love in the group, so counters are usually more exile effects.

Ill definitely look for some better ramp though, as you said she is heavy for watch listing and pithing needle/Nevermore/etc hatred.
