Deck discussion for Simic Synergy

I've aaaalways wanted to experiment with combining Golgari and Simic mechanics, just because evolve + Corpsejack would make things serious really fast. If you do decide to throw some black mana in here, I would also add Varolz the Scar-Striped (and take out Deadbridge Goliath, since Varolz renders his scavenge cost unnecessary.) You neeeeed Bioshift in there, no questions asked. It has won the majority of my games for me. I'd swap them for the Ooze Fluxes; with that card you're basically paying twice (6 mana in total) to move power and toughness on to a new creature, which then has summoning sickness, and you can't increase or move those counters anymore. Bioshift is a one drop that you can use to shove all those counters onto another creature after your opponent has already declared blockers. If you move 10 counters onto an unblocked 1/1 weenie and you have a Corpsejack in play, that's game right there.

Also, not sure if you care about being in Standard, but since you're only two cards away I'd suggest swapping Strangleroot Geist with Slitherhead (a 1 drop blocker that you WANT dead since scavenging him is free), and Predator Ooze with Scavenging Ooze (a little pricey right now, but it's cheaper to play and can get HUGE. remember, you can exile creatures from your opponent's graveyard with his ability.)

If I do end up splashing Glogari, I would definitely swap Deadbridge for Varolz. The only issue I have with the ooze flux is that I can activate it at the end of my opponents end step for a free summon then untap my lands which would trigger the populate. But, seeing how effective bioshift is I may sideboard the ooze and growing ranks for 4 bioshifts.

Standard isn't much of an issue for me. I only play kitchen table at the moment. And the big issue I have with Strangleroot over Slitherhead is that it will proc the evolve two times on my evolve 1 drops.

Predator Ooze I have in there is because due to invulnerability, if I target him with Rapid Hybridization then he wont die and I get a 3/3 for 1 mana.
