You could use mana cylix for early on, it is not very good but it would get the job done.

If you want more speed you should drop Weakness for Disfigure. I would drop 2 Haunting echoes entirely to make the deck an even 60. Doom Blade and Assassinate could go for Feast of Blood as Doom Blades are no good against black and Assassinate has to wait till after an attack.

You've gotta get at least two of those Malakir Bloodwitches in I reckon, they are a great card. Blood Tributes would be great in the main deck too, and I personally love Bloodchief Ascension in a deck like this.

If you are going to keep it green then cards like fog, giant growth and overrun might be useful. What this deck could really use though is some creature removal so if you did splash white you could get Journey to Nowhere or Pacifism.

I'm not sure that you need the Graypelt Refuge unless you are going to add some white spells. The one life that it gives you is not that useful and the fact that it comes into play tapped is only going to slow you down. I would probably get rid of them unless you need the white mana.

Yeah, you're right I'm going to drop Indestructibility completely in favour of Whispersilk Cloak. Not only does it offer protection but it makes that creature unblockable. So Celestial Mantle then Cloak would be a great combo. Thanks for the tip! I would like to work in Indestructibility somehow but at the moment I don't know what I want to remove.

I've only played this deck against a mono-black Vampire Discard deck and I won so it seems to go well, but that is the only match i've played with it.

I don't want to go 4x Giant Growths because I find them a little boring. I know they are useful and all that, but everyone plays them all the time. The reason I've only included one Might of Oaks is because that's all I have, same with Birds of Paradise and Elvish Archdruid etc. :(

I probably will tweak it a little, I'm thinking of adding a Lurking Predators or two and maybe some other changes.

Cool deck it looks like fun. How does it go against decks that have a lot of fliers in them?

I agree with MxY. Sign in Blood is the perfect card to do that with.

I like the idea of this deck but I would switch Sink into Takenuma for Megrim to keep dealing more damage, well thought out deck though.

Thanks. Yeah Demolish is a good card, but the deck is only made up of cards from the M10 set, as that is all I am collecting at the moment. I wish Shatter was like Naturalize, then it would be way better.

Yeah there are definite problems with this deck, but it is only meant to be 'casual'. I think it would be very hard to create a really competitive mono-black deck, especially using only the M10 cards. But it is definitely lots of fun to create.
