Wow, Tyranny...I did not "RTFC", haha. Makes sense. My playgroup rarely has creatures in play so that's something I don't really think about much. I was gonna try using Nekusar, and you've given me ideas of course. :)
Have you tried Sepulchral or Diluvian Primordial's? Sweet when the opponent has clones/clone spells/good cards.

Mind Twist is very good in edh, but I would not suggest sure uses it in here. Painful Quandary though, it's very annoying and will probably do a lot to protect you as well as fit the theme of the deck. I would remove Baleful Strix, and Neverending Torment (yes it is voodooy).

Phyrexian Tyranny or Barbed Shocker? This deck is nutters...I've had trouble playing against Nekusar before. Definitely an annoying game, especially when I can't win my flip with Mana Crypt.

Or remove some lands and add a Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Grim Monolith, Thran Dynamo, and Mana Crypt.

Buried Ruin is definitely worth it if you find a spot. Sphinx of the Steel Wind and Inkwell Laviathan are definitely good creatures, but they'd be first things I'd remove to get to 99.

4 Pallisade Giants. Runner's Bane just isn't good. Cut 1 Giant and 2 Runner's Bane... try that.

Dag, you don't play enough EDH if you didn't know Deserted Temple even existed, lol. It's just become a staple in many more decks along with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx (or Cradle or Cabal Coffers). Anyway, this is an awesome strategy for elves, I would never have thought of it. Is Priest of Titania a possible inclusion with the Anger haste?

And you could always use the card search and click add to deck. It gives you a choice of which sets the card was in.

You don't need four of them, and Runner's Bane isn't that good. I'd replace Counterspell with Mana Leak so having double blue is less important.

I said Persist wouldn't work, but that it is the only -1/-1 counter mechanic that works with Melira. A four card combo is silly with no way to search for it. Omnath should work well, I think. So why not try Omnath, Sterling Grove, and either more mana ramp (Rampant Growth/Nature's Lore), or some Llanowar Elves or Avacyn's Pilgrim?
Also, why Ashnod's Altar? Phyrexian Altar is just better, for that specific combo.

Well if you have 2 islands and 2 plains, and tap 1 island for high tide, to make the 2nd island make 2 mana, it's the same as not playing High Tide. A Signet on turn two lets you play Spirit Mirror turn three. You'll have 5 mana turn 4, so maybe you could add some 5 mana spells too. Azor's Eloctucors might be good for that so you can just remove everything, and it's good with Palisade Giant too.
