protect obzedaat and have multiple threats on the board forcing your opponent to pick and choose what to remove. Cards like gods willing help tremendeously against removal and side board dark betrayal for pack rats and rakdos. Nyx and obzedaat trigger archangel really well. Whip can bring back obzedaat and he stays on the field making him even harder to remove.
