Deck Description

this deckr evolves around the new sigarda's aid card which is absolutely amazing. I am trying to find a good deck to work around with it.

Deck discussion for Sigarda's little helpers

I am questioning tarmogoyf in this deck. I wonder if something else main board would be better like ethersworn. Would love to hear from the community

Honestly can't go wrong with a goyf I think Kor duelist could be great in this deck.

I really thought about kor, double strike is ridiculous for an immediate euip. I just have no idea what I would exchange for it and if he's really viable. I try to have most of my creatures able to somewhat protect themselves in someway, but that of course is pretty difficult but aurioks champion is amazing for it! Should I maybe drop to 2 birds, 3 mirran crusaders, and maybe a sword for 3 kor duelist?

I say -1 Tutor
-3 Birds
for +4 Kor Duelist

not sure if I can throw the tutor away. Need that "5th" sigarda's aid so I can see or be able to have a back up in case it gets destroyed. Helps me statistically against maybe an abrupt decay, or a counter spell if I can't get it to resolve.

Makes it sound like this deck relies on it maybe a bit too much. Even if they stop it you are gonna behind.

The deck is heavily built around it being used of course. Preboard enchantment removal isn't super popular. Really abrupt decay in the meta for modern is all that could hit it really. But that's where the ramp comes in, so dropping the birds makes it harder for me to continue out my plays. Need the extra mana to drop a sword and be able to equip it without the sigarda's aid. Plus a sword on a birds of paradise isn't bad at all. My only flyer to help in the skies.

Fair enough for the birds staying, but still I can't see anytime where you play tutor and get ahead.

yea which you may be right. Sucks spending 3 mana to go get another one instead of spending it on a threat or something. Probably super situational. if I take that out maybe add what else as another one of. A sword or forge maybe, or maybe have a 4th auriok main.

I say another equipment or a steelshaper's, you got plenty of creatures for this.
I am gonna give an equipment deck a crack and link the deck when I am done.

Yea I will give that a shot and see how it runs. Definitely needs some playtest. Look forward to seeing your list.
