Deck discussion for Solar Flare

Sweet deck. I have an almost identical build: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=248790

I like the addition of "Feeling of Dread." I haven't seen that in any Solar Flares yet, and the flashing back of the tap-down is a nice touch. Have you playtested this deck? How does it do?

Since I put the Feeling of Dread in, I have not had a chance to playtest. I did a tournament and my only 2 losses were to mono red and I am just trying to tweak the deck to handle it cause it's very frustrating and I refuse to believe that my deck can't beat it. So my sideboard took a dramatic change and even the 2 Liliana of the Veil came out of the deck for another Snapcaster Mage and more removal.

I agree about feeling of dread. Seems like a good card for the deck.
Against mono red, you want more removal, so maybe Go for the Throat and Dismember wouldn't be bad. If you're going to go UB, that would be my first recommendation.
Good deck!

Yeah, to counter that burn, you desperately need leaks and dissipates in hand. Also, the more timely reinforcements you have, the better. Anything, really, to buy time until turn 5 & 6 when your bombs start dropping.

This deck is stacked, and has the potential to compete against anything. Especially when you put down that 2nd dual land and your opponent sighs and says "Here it comes..."

Well maybe I was just unlucky against my mono-red match-ups cause I drew into my timelys just fine for the most part, but i just couldn't deal with all their creatures. I'm thinking about going a U/B route.

I don't think go for the throat is a good choice mainboard since i might run into tempered steel. And I've decided to run some Despise so I can get a turn 1 and/or 2 removal. I think that will get a good reaction since no-one really does anything turn 1 or 2 in Solar Flare.

Yeah, I run despise in mine too. Works alright. Could you check out my solar flare? Thanks.
