This is a deck that has been a continuing work in progress. I wanted to build a deck that represented what scary vampires do - overrun opponents and gain life by feeding. Brutal and no pulled punches...or fangs. It has become my favorite deck. Something I get to really focus on and tweak until it is perfect for me.The problem I have had is making this deck modern legal. I am not well versed in various formats, but I would like to play this during modern tournaments, rather than just a kitchen-table type format. If there are any suggestions or constructive criticisms I am more than happy to take them.
Right now, the plan is simple: get out vampires and fast. Stromkirk Captain is a staple: ramping up all other vamps easily and those Nighthawks for tough damage. Sorin and Olivia for making and ramping vamps, Necro Regent for really building and swinging for the fences. Instant and Sorcery cards to try and stop opponent creatures and to suck the life from them. It's Bloodlust all the way.
