Deck discussion for meet the parun

It's not bad, but you're curve is kinda wonky. You should focus more on having a decline from one drops and on. This could easily be standard too, but first I'll describe what you should do about your mana curve.

Try to run more 1 and 2 drops. A majority of the deck revolves around turn 3 plays, and while that's not necessarily bad it's not good either. The 4 of lightning bolts is a great choice, another good choice for this would be Vapor Snag. It's easy removal with an extra oomph, or if you really need to you can return your creature to your hand as an emergency. In black we have Thoughtseize and Doom Blade. Instant speed removal is necessary, Dreadbore can be good but killing something other than a planeswalker on your turn is not optimal. Thoughtseize can easily rip a win condition or their turn one play from the opponent's hand, giving you an early advantage. Drop Nicol Bolas, he's cool but he's not in your curve at all. Ral Zarek is also not being helpful but he's not a bad option. You don't need the Diabolic Tutors so much at that point, since searching for something below the curve will most likely result in profit lost from playing Diabolic Tutor in the first place. Diabolic Tutor is necessary when you need a bomb, Demonic Tutor was broken because it was always worth it because you always spent 2 mana to find one card. Hero's Downfall is great, but you don't need to run what is essentially 7 of them. My tip is if you don't want to go standard, run 4x Terminate. It gets the job done at instant speed.

If you want to go true standard let me know, and I'll definitely help. If not then I could modernize this deck too.

Well this is the base of what i want for standard. i plan on making it legal for born of the gods and all. I normally play casual with my friends and have a modern deck already and it works rather well so my next move is to standard. though i did notice hero's downfall shouldnt have been on the list from what i was using for the base. i would very much appreciate any and all assistance with this
