Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
Ever since Seething Song was banned, I've been wracking my brain for a way to Dragonstorm without it... until this morning. Now, I have no idea if this will work reliabley, but I'm hoping it will. *Edit:-3 Street Wraith (I don't actually own any) -1 Mountain+4 Faithless Looting (digs deep) **Edit 2:-4 Faithless Looting+4 Tormenting VoiceAfter some testing I found that Faithless Looting didn't quite work as well as I'd like, so I tested Tormenting Voice (or Wild Guess) in its place. Tests with this change showed better control over my draws, so I'm keeping this change.I also tested a cheaper ($) replacement for Arid Mesa. At first I tried Evolving Wilds (Terramorphic Expanse), but the enter tapped part slowed it down too much. Then, while going through my cards, I found a set of Grixis Panorama. After testing it, I found that in some cases the Panorama lands work better than Evolving Wilds because of its ability to tap for colourles mana. I've only tested this in a mono coloured deck, not sure how it'll fair in multicolour. ***Edit 3:-2 Mountain +2 Grapeshot In games where I'm forced to Storm without Dragonstorm, ie Storm a lot of goblins with Empty the Warrens, I've found Grapeshot useful to clear the path up a bit. Also, fewer lands means more chance of drawing more useful cards.
The plan:Suspend Lotus Bloom on turn 1. On turn 4, Lotus Bloom is cast and you should have at least 2 mountains. (spell count: 1)Tap 2 mountains and Cast 2 Rituals (Spell count: 3; mana: 4x{R})Cast Empty the Warrens (Spell count: 4; mana: 0; 8x goblins)Sacrifice Lotus Bloom for red mana and Cast the Hymn (spell count: 5; mana 9x{R})Cast Dragonstorm for the win.Only 5 cards are needed in hand on turn 4: 2x Rituals; 1x Hymn; 1x Empty the Warrens; and 1x Dragonstorm. Draw spells will hopefully help get required cards. -----------------------With my sideboard, I can switch to concentrate more on Empty the Warrens. -4 Kokusho-3 Dragonstorm+4 Goblin Bushwhacker+1 Empty the Warrens+1 Haze of Rage+1 Weapon Surge (wold be more Haze of Rage, but I only own 1)Storm into Empty the Warrens. Kick Goblin Bushwhacker to give haste.Use excess mana to cast Haze of Rage (buyback and recast as often as possible). there is almost no way you will be able to pull this off in time. empty the warrens needs at least 1 other spell being played before it to give you the 4 creatures necessary to make casting battle hymn cost effective. which means you have to spend one of your ramp spells to make it happen, which cuts back on your ramp to dragonstorm. im not really sure why you arnt running bogardan hellkite over your current choices, unless this is a multi player deck. with only 3 copies of dragonstorm, no search, and only 7 cards that each let you draw 1 card, the combo isn't likely to go off until late game, and you have no way to slowing your opponent down or blowing up the field. in order to make this work you need some serious search/draw power and a different ramp base. manamorphose nets you nothing, and you only need 3 other spells played to get your win, so its unnecessary

I already explained the plan in the "How to Play".Manamorphose is a 'free' draw that also adds to storm count, just like Gitaxian Probe.I am thinking of dropping the Street Wraiths and 1 mountain for 4 Faithless Looting.I actually have 4 Bogardan Hellkite, but I chose Kokusho for 2 reasons. The Hellkites damage can be prevented, Kokusho's life loss can't; and for the off chance the opponent does gain life over 20, I'll have gained enough to survive until I get to attack with Predator Dragon (again) and the goblins.
love the predator dragon touch but is the point battle hymn as it only works with empty the warrens (just curios) but over all very nice
With Seething Song banned in Modern, the Battle Hymn after Empty the Warrens was the best replacement I could find for mono red.
