The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Turn Doubling Season into a creature with Opalescence and then enchant Doubling with Followed Footsteps. If the combo sticks around, you'll end up needing to use scientific shorthand to keep count of the number of Doublings you have :p

The "formula" to work out how many Doublings are made is Y=2^n where Y is the number of tokens you put into play instead of 1, and n is the number of Doubling Seasons already in play.
eg:
1 Doubling season: 2^1=2 put 2 into play
3 Doubling season: 2^3=8 put 8 into play
11 Doubling season: 2^11=2048 put 2048 into play
2059 Doubling season: 2^2059=A number with 619 zeros after it.

This is just a rough design for the deck.

Deck discussion for Scientific Shorthand

+ Sterling Grove (a must have for this in my opinion)
+ Enlightened Tutor or Replenish
- Lost Auramancers (not as fast)

And if you have Doubling Season on the battlefield enchanted with Followed Footsteps - You have infinite Doubling Season because when both tokens enter the battlefield, they enter at the same time, thus triggering the ability of Doubling Season. It's the same thing as Valakut + Mountains entering the battlefield or Rite of Replication kicked onto an ally - the cards see each other entering the battlefield and trigger each other's effects. Great deck!

I was thinking of adding Where Ancients Tread seeing that Doubling Season costs 5 (making it a 5/5).
