Deck Description

Esper Control deck with flashy creatures for countering opponent's actions, when you get faeries out of Bitterblossom(s). Flash flyers and Snapcasters also join the attack, and in case you need to counter something again, use Far/Away or Vapor Snap onto your own ETB-counter creature, and cast it again.

Life loss is a bit of problem with the deck, but it can be tuned with siding in Blessed Alliances, which also provide good removal against Hexproof/Infect decks.

Spell Queller dies to bolt, yes, but otherwise does it's job for Tempo by slowing down opponent's key spells, forcing them to spend a removal to get forward. Spellstutter Sprite goes well with Bitterblossom, but otherwise you might need to wait for optimal time for it.

The main deck plays good against Combos, because plenty of counters and Queller / Summary Dismissal's ability to exile, not counter, the spells and abilities. Dismissal can wreck down ultimated Nahiri. Even if it's 4-mana, I'm tempted to use even more of them in side or even in main.

How to Play

Aim for turn two Bitterblossom. Otherwise keep an eye out for your life, and play spells like Serum Visions, Inquisition of Kozilek and Thoughtseize at start to get more cards and to see, what our opponent has planned for us. This helps to plan what to counter later on, and what kind of deck he is running with.

Clique in opponent's end phase to see their hand. Protect Bitterblossom and other creatures with Spell Queller. Manlands are to finish the game and to protect your life, but if you have seen their hand with Thoughseize or Inquisition and expect nothing bad from there, you can use them to attack even in mid-game.

If you need more gas or speed, you can play spells like Snapcaster Mage on even Serum Visions. It's important to keep a bit ahead and protect that with counters and removal.

Against hard-to-hit monster decks, Hexproof boggles, Infect or aggros, side in Blessed Alliances. For Nahiri/Tron/other nasty permanents, you can use Anguished Unmaking (do NOT use these against aggro or burn, you'll kill yourself). Supreme Verdict against counter-decks or full zoo aggros.

Rest in Peace & Leyline of the Void can be used against Dredge, Grixis Control, Gifts and maybe even Storm. Better to side out Snapcasters then, because they lose most of their value.

Stony Silence is pure hate card against Affinity.

Against Combo decks like Ad Nauseam, Storm or Nahiri Jeskai, try to hold onto one Summary Dismissal to blow up their combo. Other counters are bonus, if they try to counter your Dismissal. You should side in Anguished Unmakings against Nahiri, so you are able to blow her out before ultimation.

Against burn and mill, side in Leyline of Sanctities.

Deck discussion for Esper Queller

With some cheap and small flyers, the deck could benefit from spells or permanents that boost up their power. There are anthems in Esper colors, ofc, but the deck aims to play it's spells at instant speed. If anyone knows any good boosting spells for flyer token/flash/counter-type deck, I'll be thankful for suggestions.
