I played around with a similar method, using Blue instead of White to pair with black, utilizing the Throne of Geth + Core Prowler double proliferate. Not sure about the Myrsmith. While it does help feed your Throne of Geth, I dunno. Would have to mess with it and see how it works. Perilous Myr would probably be better as Ichorclaw Myr to stay with the infect plan. All of that said though, I like the idea behind it.

-2 Adventuring Gear +2 Distortion Strike (Arguably the best Blue card available for infect) After which, you'd be able to reduce (drastically) the number of fetches.
Can be done without blue. R/G - Turn 1 Inkmoth nexus, Panic Spellbomb Turn 2 Forest, (Birds, Llanowar, Plague Myr, Explore+2nd Land, etc) Turn 3 Mountain, Tap (Birds/Llanowar/Pla...etc) to activate Inkmoth, Tap mountain for Assault Probe, Tap Forest for Groundswell (+4/+4 thx to the mountain). 5/5 Flying Doublestrike infect. If they did manage to get a flyer out, pop the spellbomb and walk right past.
Ichorclaw Myr in UB Infect is an auto 4 of imo. Tezzeret turning him to a 5/5 infect that jumps to 7/7 if blocked is unreal. Distortion Strike is also a must. 1 blue, unblockable. I'll let you chew on the possibilities that brings to the table.
