Deck Description

a standard combo deck that uses karn for an awesome win. use carns exile from the hand ability to dump one of your praetors, use the abil again, then dump karn to restart the game and you start with the praetor in play, which for all intents and purposes is winning the game. control the game until you can pull this off. enjoy

I like the idea, but there has to be some way to ramp your mana A LOT or you're not even going to get a chance to play Karn, let alone build him up on two separate turns. Consider splashing green (or just using green also) and you can use Overgrown Battlements, Awakening Zone, Growth Spasm, and/or Realms Uncharted if you want to keep it standard legal. I'd go with 4 Overgrown Battlements (they stack extremely nicely and are decent defenders) and maybe 2-3 Awakening Zones. I can't really think of any ways to ramp with blue/black like green...

You could also proliferate once Karn is out to possibly cut a turn, but that is probably counter-intuitive.

Oh yeah, almost forgot Cultivate.

You should definitely splash green for Cultivate and Overgrown Battlements!

First of all:
This deck is not standard. The current standard consists of: Zendikar block, Magic 2011, and the first two sets of the Scars of Mirrodin Block.

Now about the deck it's self:
I would replace Doom Blade with Go for the Throat, there are a few other minor changes I would make, but it looks like a fun deck

A side note (which well get me a lot of hate):
Okay although the deck looks kind of fun, I would not call it "Tournament Quality", it today's meta game if one is running blue 4 Jace, the mind Sculptor's is needed, it is sad, but it is true. To compete in most tournaments you either need 4 jace's or a deck built to deal with jace (almost all the of the former and none of the latter) until Zendikar is out of Standard you are going to be needing 4 jace's. Good Luck with the deck :)
