This is a pretty neat deck, and it seems incredibly reliable for an EDH, kudos man this is very well done.

So far trying to break into this format has been impeded by Shiny Thing Syndrome, caused me a headache trying to get consistency, and made me start working on jazz guitar again. Something about the new ooze making me think about I'm the Slime by Frank Zappa, or something like that, can't quite remember...
But I THINK I might have it now, maybe.

thank you, it is easily my favorite edh deck i have made. i hate to brag, but i know from playing it that this is one of the best edh decks that most people have seen. it turns the game into a battle of little things, which is a whole lot of fun, and my deck has the huge upper hand in that regard. only arty has a better one and that is his maralen of the mornsong one, which is completely unfair and broken as f**k. oddly enough this is probably my most control-heavy deck! :D

i really hope wizards keeps on working in more ooze cards. i just love the tribe, and have been working on a deck for ooze, but it has a lot of changelings. i can not wait to have a changeling-free ooze deck! :)

I may not have broken into the format fully, but I've seen a LOT of EDH decks, and this is in fact in the top ten. Maralen, Zur, and Teeg are the most amusing generals I've seen yet.

I'm currently working on a Seizan deck, and so far it looks really cool. I figure, and I think you and Wumps would agree...If you're going to play EDH, why be bland with it?

Seizan seems like an interesting general, and I agree. I don't even understand how somebody can conceive a bland EDH deck... I'm looking into something funny with Zur; Contamination seems like it'd be a pain to deal with for your decks :D

I might use Contamination for my Seizan deck...I certainly have thought about it. I still am unsure how many creatures I want in the deck though, or if I would want a bunch of token generators (Though I will be using Bitterblossom). Arty uses Contamination in his Maralen deck, so I know what a headache it can be.

As for Zur...Necropotence, Steel of the Godhead, Edge of Divinity, Underworld Dreams, Propaganda/Ghostly Prison, maybe Helm of the Ghastlord?, Prison Term (everyone will HATE you), Contamination =P, Rhystic Study....

Zur is great because of the shear number of crap you have at your disposal. =P

Oh, and if you don't use Debtors' Knell in an EDH deck with the colors to use it I will slap you.

:O I hadn't thought of Rhystic Study or Prison term! But you're missing two of the funniest cards Zur enables, Oubliette and Oblivion ring

Just a comment about the deck, I don't think Druid of the Anima or Noble Hierarch can be played legally in this deck because they have mana symbols on them that aren't on your general.

Nah they can, they'll just produce colorless instead of the non-legal colors.

No no they aren't allowed. Their color identity has colors that aren't the generals color. But it's up to the people he plays with to decide if he can use them....House rules.

By edge legalities they are entirely legal they're activated ability doesn't cost non general colored mana so it's legal
Sure why not is entirely correct

Friggin awesome. This just looks fun. I still like Jhoira of the Ghitu more though.
